steve2
I went to see the physio todayas I have had a pain in my left elbow for about 6 days now . She thinks that I have injured my tendons and suggested acupuncture would help to remedy the situation, now. have always hated needles being stuck in me but thought I woud give it a go being brave and not wanting to embarrass myself. 4 needles were stuck in me and although it hurt it was not too bad and after a few minutes I could feel the muscles tightening up, am going back for more of the same on Tuesday, as anyone else had it done to them? burble
I had a course of acupuncture about 10 years ago to help with a neck injury. Initially I had physio which helped for a day or two but a session of acupuncture helped fo about a wek then after a couple of months the pain went and hasn't come back. Most of the needles went in my feet (to draw energy down from my neck I was told) and around my shoulder blades and I don't remember there being any pain as the needles he used were very fine. It was an odd feeling lying there with 100 or so needles in my shoulders but it wasn't unpleasant. I found it very relaxing and would often drift off to sleep during a session.
