Milo
In the end, I never even asked them to bid on it. They had openly said they would struggle to offer its worth because of the deal on the S5. This way, at least I know who is getting it. It seemed a waste to have had it meticulously cared for, kept every receipt, tax disc etc only to see it shunted into some auction house or shonky car lot. A bit sad, I know I wonder if the new owner will look after it? He might post a few updates
Calm Chris
Sh1t, why didn't I think to get in touch. There was me thinking I'd get January out the way and have a chat in February. Anyway, at least it's sorted for you and there's the new car to think about as a distraction.

Milo
Oooooooooooooooo do tell! They on TSN? Ha, if they want to break cover, I'm sure they will. They'll mess your database up if they don't though :D

Calm Chris
FAO Chri5 :D Why is it outside? :nono: That car should be parked carefully in the garage with the heating set on 9 c constant in a nice big pile of very fluffy cotton wool. On the more positive side it does show some fine beading quality :smileylove:, I've always been Megs orientated, am I going to have to take on another finishing routine? You need to phone up Audi and tell them you want the S5 early.
Milo
Even I have to go to work unfortunately Don't worry, it's safely tucked up every night. The cleaning routine it's used to is Megs NXT shampoo (with a lambs wool mit of course), clay bar, Megs Ultimate polish, Collonite 845 then topped off with Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection. In between big cleans like that, feel free to just wash it, dry it then give it a once over with a quick detailer
Calm Chris
I've got 4 out of 6 of the things you mentioned (sad aren't we?). I fear the Autoglym EGP (I have) might be rather old, maybe the Megs show car mirror do da stuff I have, will do. I thought a custard yellow wrap, some mat black tints and some 20" spinners might be the way forward.

collease
Was just quoted 4k for my civic but WBEC but have already been offered 6k by a dealer who has seen it so i think they are a little low on some cars.
Cuprabob
Was just quoted 4k for my civic but WBEC but have already been offered 6k by a dealer who has seen it so i think they are a little low on some cars. Unless the dealer was doing a trade purchase, you are not comparing like with like. With a trade in there is always margin in the car you are buying to boost the trade in price. Not that I'm sticking up for WBAC
collease
My 6k quote was just to buy my car off me. Not with me buying anything from them and using my car as part exchange.
Cuprabob
My 6k quote was just to buy my car off me. Not with me buying anything from them and using my car as part exchange. In that case, it was a valid comparison.
