Arsenal

Liverpool

Chelsea

Man City

Man Utd

Tottenham

Swansea

choose the normal lot as 3rd to 5th due to being transition teams / new managers. Liverpool as 2nd because they have some great kids, and Arsenal at title winners because if they don't win it Wenger is out the door (he might not renew and could retire, so the lads should sort out the PL as a goodbye present).

What planet are you on Chri5? :P If you're on something, can I have some please? I'd like my mind to be mashed up the much to believe things will happen that way till the end of the season :roflmao: Even I know my team cant realistically get to where you've put them. Come on now.

As long Man U have a shite season and win nothing but the contempt of every other professional sports person on the globe, I won't mind if Newcastle fail to capitalise on Christmas's 9 point lead and eventually finish second to the true champions of Manchester.

Incidentally, whilst I have put United first and Chelsea second, and said it will be very close, I won't be at all surprised if those positions are reversed. I think it will be very close indeed this year.

Quite how anyone thinks Liverpool will challenge though....:roflmao:

You really think Moyes will be able to keep Utd up at 1st or 2nd in his first season? Wow.....

Yes. Absolutely. Others are just hoping it all falls apart. The reality is the squad will be strengthened.

It is also very easy to forget that Sir Alex hasn't left the club.....he'll guide him through any difficult patches if he needs it.

They're the reigning Champions. It doesn't all go bad overnight (unless you're Newcastle United, that is).

No such change comes without its risk, and of course there is the received wisdom that any manager who follows a great is doomed to failure, but to assume that's what will happen is an insult to Moyes' ability and the strength of the club infrastructure built from scratch during the Ferguson years.

Of course, there is a difference between assume and hope ... ;)

Like many seasons, I approach this one in the hope of a genuine four or five way battle for the title, but in the knowledge it'll probably be a scrap between two at best. Right now you'd have to say it's United, City and Chelsea. Arsenal may join the party IF Wenger signs a new deal and is given the rumoured mega transfer pot (Higuain would be an intriguing start...).

First Kinnear

Then Lambias resigns

Today it is the renaming of Shearers Bar and....

...Tiote has just left court on 5 counts of fraud.:roflmao:

Hopefully, tomorrow they'll announce they're closing the whole shambolic affair down and creating something everyone in the City wants - a nice big car park.

So far, you've been sure they'd sign Falcao, Ronaldo (the gay one, not the fat one), the German squad, the list goes on and on.

So far, all they've signed is another miserable Scot. A ginger one at that. And his name is an anagram of, Ye Gods I'm a div.

I fear the local prawn supplier may be gaining a new contract with your noisy [and better] neighbours in 12 months time.

I didn't say they'd sign Falcao. The Ronaldo saga isn't done yet (even though it looks unlikely).

You can keep sticking those needles in the United badge, but it ain't gonna change anything.

Whereas I don't have to do anything. I just sit back and watch your mob self destruct.:roflmao:
