fizzbitt
Feel for Del Potro... Really amazing game!
NewNiceMrMe
This tennis has just been sublime though. I know it is always difficult to compare era's with sport, but I do feel we are in the golden age of tennis. We've been in it for the last 8-10 years, unquestionably. Cuprabob
I don't know why but Andrew Castle really annoys me.
NewNiceMrMe
He annoys me too, but he knows his tennis and most of the ex-players get on very well with him. I think he's very good as a commentator.
Cuprabob
Can't disagree with that.
Cuprabob
Should be a good final.
NewNiceMrMe
One thing is for sure - Murray won't be playing a petulant unsporting little s***e like Janowicz this time. Deserved defeat for a very demonstration of gamesmanship.
Twinspark
You're right. That honour falls to Djokovic in the final...
NewNiceMrMe
Djokovic, unsporting? I'm presuming I've misread that because if I haven't you clearly don't follow the sport. He is one of the most decent sportsmen you would ever wish to meet. Modest in victory and incredibly charitable in defeat.
Twinspark
You misunderstand. The petulant, unsporting git in this case will be that miserable Scottish cünt.
NewNiceMrMe
I was right. You don't follow tennis.

Cuprabob
I really don't know how he managed to hold it together at the end of the 3rd set.
Scotty
3 sets makes it look easy. I thought if he didn't do it in that final mad game then he'd have lost it. He looked mentally and physically done. Excellent demo of really digging deep. A very well deserved win.
NewNiceMrMe
Outstanding and massively well deserved.
Tipex
Well done Murray, a great win and a credit to Scotland!
Torino101
That win has just pretty much secured him legendary status in british sport. Wouldn't be surprised if in another 77 years they are saying last mens winner was Murray. He will go down in history.
m4ttm4son
There's still time for him to win it another couple of times. But otherwise, I agree. Are there any good British youngsters?

Booster
A truly brilliant performance spoilt by one thing: Alex Salmond's fat Fücking face.
NewNiceMrMe
Yup, Salmond pulls a stunt that has backfired massively with the criticism in the press this morning. It shouldn't detract from the fact it is a magnificent achievement and Britain can count itself lucky to have a truly world class tennis player and sportsman. Two Grand Slam titles, one being the biggest of all, and an Olympic Gold Medal, all 3 held at the same time. Outstanding.
