Tipex
Mark Webber has announced his retirement from F1, in order to join Porsche and sports car racing. Wonder what was behind that decision, fed up of being number 2, and realising he'll never win a championship? Shame, I quite like the bloke. Andy_Bangle
No shock there, we were discussing it a couple of months ago when the news was first leaked after the Chinese GP. He is in excellent company in that respect. DC. Brundle. Sterling Moss. Kimi to RBR? Edited June 27, 2013 by Andy_Bangle
Mook
He's a great bloke, but just a bit too "nice" in respect of F1. If he was as German in his attitude towards everyone else as Schumacher and Vettel, he'd probably have done better. McNish, who never did much in F1, has had a brilliant career in the Le Mans series, hopefully Webber will as well. Hope his car doesn't get airborne like his CLR did in
Luke
Kimi to RedBull? sorry Andy,, just seen the end of your post. I think RedBull want him. Edited June 27, 2013 by Luke
Andy_Bangle
Kimi to RedBull? Kimi IS the favorite to replace him, and seems very possible considering Christian Horner mentioned it only yesterday, but I don't think Kimi wants to drive in a team where he would potentially be #2. Not to mention now that Lotus received some well-needed extra funding they should a) be able to afford kimi and b) able to keep up with developments better. The big plus for Webber is that bogging down at the start of a 24 hour race isn't such a big deal... Wonder how many times "silly season" will be mentioned by DC or Brundle at the w/e. m4ttm4son
It would be HILARIOUS to see Kimi and Vettel be on the same team. I think Vettel would definitely run to Fezza asap if that happened.
garcon magnifique
I can't see Kimi taking a #2 seat.
Luke
Do you think RedBull could offer equal equipment to 2 drivers?

Luke
True. But having Kimi too, would be a hell of a team. It would be great for the fans.
garcon magnifique
I'd rather see Kimi drag Lotus into contention.
