I have 20" avus rims with fk highsportand it sits too low and the ride has been compromised a fair bit! Do you know if the sport springs will sit in an adjustable strut like the fk highsports? sjmmarsh
Sven It looks like your car is Aqua Blue - I have this colour. It sometimes looks dark blue, sometimes grey depending on the light. Steve

Ska
Hello m8 welcome to TSN, unfortunately Sven isn't around at the mo. but if you post a new post in the A8 forum there are few other folk that could help you on your query
pras1011
Heres my baby: Can someone tell me if the aerial is correct?
A8_Tony
Nice mota Pras. The aerial looks correct, but get it dropped !!!!
pras1011
I thought the aerial was meant to be electric? and if i lower the car the lower body will scrap move when going over humps!! will it improve the handling?
Ska
Yep the original aerials were auto ones. Those wheels arn't sitting right m8. IIRC they're off a TT (didn't know the TT had the same fitment as the A8) but if those are 18's then either they are 7.5inches wide or the offset is all wrong, plus the tyres look way too low profile; the correct size is 245/45 18 on 8inch wide rims those look like 35 profiles( see my car below before I put the 19's on there). Also if your car isn't a sports model then you can lower easily by at least 20mm it but to get the best effect change the tyres (one seems to have been bitten by someone BTW )
pras1011
The profile is 40! which is way wrong. the tyres size is 225/40/18 maxius tyres. I think they the TT alloys but are they ok on the A8? to find out how wide the alloys are, can i measure it? I want to put 255/45/18 on!! All the tyres have the same bite marks!!!!! spencerbruntlett
Like I said in your other post, these sound like TT wheels which are not suitable on the A8, looking at the picture I would be surprised if the rim is over 7.5J, you need 8.5J for a 255 profile. Ska
Remove the centre cap on the alloys; that should tell you the size of the rims or on the inside of one of the spokes rather than taking a tape messure to it
pras1011
I actually measured the wheel with a tape measure and the size is 24 cm (about 9.5 inchs? does this mean that its a 9.5j?
Ska
No. you need to find the size on the inside of that centre cap, 9.5j rims are much much wider than those

pras1011
The Audi TT 18" are 8J. I bought some Pirelli Pzero Asimmetrico 255/45/18. I hope they look alright now!
