Luke
Are sure it wasn't Moyes and his team? Only no one recognised them or took them seriously? Gareth Barry heading to Old Trafford.
Milo
So Moyes has made his mark on the transfer market. He's now known as the man with a briefcase full of Monopoly money, and a dark suit, who nobody outside of the North West recognises

Twinspark
This really is a joke - and it looks very much like the Yanks have really screwed the club now - Moyes was a sign that things weren't quite right at the top - and the inept way they've gone in with silly low-ball offers for players, seemingly to try and appease the fans when they've stolen all the family silver is embarrassing. Milo
Don't think you'll find any Newcastle fans behind him. It's actually superb in my book, it shows he was and is a waste of space and hopefully he'll be shown the door. Not losing Cabaye and Ben Arfa was always going to be our best 'signing'. But really. Fellaini? After Chelsea and Liverpool exposed their midfield? I hope you get him. For £40m
Luke
Is Ozil worth £42.4M?
NewNiceMrMe
I just don't know how you conclude that when imposters blag their way into La Liga offices? How on earth is that the clubs fault? Plus, would you rather we went out and paid ridiculous sums of money for players by being held to ransom? I wouldn't. NewNiceMrMe
After Chelsea and Liverpool exposed their midfield? I hope you get him. For £40m We drew with Chelsea and had 57% of possession against Liverpool - but our midfield was exposed? Only a Newcastle fan.

Twinspark
Look at the evidence - we've fecked Everton about with Sideshow Bob and Baines, we made a complete cock up of the Fabregas situation, seems we let Arsenal outbid us (or out strip our wage offer) for Ozil, and it seems we didn't even look at Kaka, even though he was available on a free. I don't really care if we did have to pay over the odds - we have needed a creative midfielder for a number of years now - and with Scholes finally hanging up his boots and Giggs only really capable of short spells on the pitch, this was a real opportunity for Moyes to send out a signal to the rest of the league that he means business. Instead, he, Woodward and the Glazers have left us a laughing stock.
Luke
Its a bit embarrassing for a club the size of United, to be turned down by so many players.
NewNiceMrMe
Kaka? Do you watch any football? He has been shocking! That's why he's been forced out on a free! We're only laughing stock to those who forget we still have a squad that won the league!
Twinspark
Its a bit embarrassing for a club the size of United, to be turned down by so many players. Let's be fair - would you be inspired by signing for Moyes? My prediction - the club will go the same way as Liverpool did when Souness took over from Dogleash.
