markos67
I'm looking for an A5 coupe but my budget limits me to high milers. Keighley Sports & Performance cars have a couple on autotrader but there's some bad reviews out there about them! Although, the reviews I've found are dated & relate to Jap cars. Does anyone have any recent experience of buying an Audi from them? Also, any advice on buying a high miler will be appreciated Cheers
garcon magnifique
When I search Autotrader for various mid/high end performance cars and Keighley Sports and Performance Cars repeatedly comes up as having the cheapest it does raise my suspicions. On the other hand it may just be that they're happy to trade higher milers and make their money turning them over quickly. I'd have a full independent engineer check on it (including full HPI) - that'll tell you what you need to know about the car's history.
Ian_C
You've answered your own question. Don't touch them with someone elses barge pole!
M8CKN
RUN TO THE HILLS!! I know this place and the reports are pretty true, I wouldn't entertain a car from there. If the one you are looking at is a high miler, at one point it'll probably have been a higher miler
garcon magnifique
I heard their clientelle hails mostly from one group - Keighley's council estate drug dealers.
eldavo69
Phew, thank god you're asking about them now; I was worried you'd bought from them and run into the inevitable problems.
Twinspark
No. Just no. Dodgy bunch, mostly selling bodged accident damaged stuff. They're not very good with warranty claims, either - most people are persuaded not to return...
