RS4_Barry
Tuscan S I would have to sell the RS4 though...... and that would be tough as it's a good un I've got but I reckon it just ain't fast enough. Probably ask about a 440R while I'm there too. How good are they mate. I've heard horror stories of them falling to bits but every time I hear one given it the loud pedal I melt Plus it should pretty much anything else on the road nes pah? Fear the speed! Lagoo
I loved my red rose, it was the nuts! OK not German build quality but the fecker is so loud you cant heat the rattles! You get a lot of bang for your buck with TVR and i WILL get another, nothing i have had has come close for the pure adrenalin rush! You have pm
Lagoo
Oversteer on tap.. get the arse out at 2k revs in the wet... What else do you want?! Never had anything fall off it as such, but i did have the clutch go at 22k miles but that was the major part of it! You would be using it as a second car (i guess, with the Tdi munching the miles) so cant see why you wouldnt get a TVR Go on do it!!
RS4_Barry
it's the noise ....but will it kill me and how's depreciaion?
Lagoo
I had the rear cans made to straight through... the pops and bangs on the overrun ( forgetting the flames ) where immense, it made you look for tunnels Will it kill you... umm i survived and i am not the most restrained driver! You are alot more aware of whats going on around you and when you hit the 100 you know it and that kind of keeps you in check! The oversteer is very controlable as there is so much travel on the 'Go' pedal! The brakes are fantasic (AP Racing 6 pots) and i never had them lock up on me, and never experienced any fade! My main concern was someone else hitting me and what would be left!

Dave
[ QUOTE ] My main concern was someone else hitting me and what would be left! [/ QUOTE ] A good mate of mine (who Chris helped) had someone ride into the back of him and it was devestating.. had to rebuild the whole rear of the car.. all done on insurance luckily... but he only had it back 3 days and the clutch went.. £1000 for a new one.. apparantly they have a twin clutch to keep the weight down which in turn means they can keep the weight of the flywheel down.. etc etc I think you need to expect high running costs Dave
RS4_Barry
build quality a little iffy though especially round about the rear quarter windows...
Blue
I'm not so sure if a tuned RS4 will be alot slower than a TVR. but it's indeed true, that in a TVR you'll feel the speed if you an afford the maintance there ain't too much that comes close to one of these machines. Bison1379134007
mate fecking do it. By far the best car (for joy) i've ever owned. Fear the deprecation and fear the service cost but apart from that there is nothing else to fear... they are pure joy machines. You KNOW It makes sense... only problem is... after you've owned one everything else feels a little dull.
Blue
I must say that I LOVED shagoo's Tuscan, but that 350T also seems might loverly!!!! go for it mate!! that'll give you a car you won't HAVE to tune anymore... for 1 day at least with your reputation
RS4_Barry
dunno going to get the stealer to give me a 350 for the weekend to see if i can live with those stoooopid pedals - they just don't work too well with size 11's. RS4 was definately quicker tho. Was funny though as took the sales guy out in the 4 after i drove the trev as he couldn't understand why someone would rate an audi estate so highly
Bison1379134007
aye i'd go for that... but what feels quicker? and i know what you mean about the pedals... i too have the club foot size 11s i had to buy specially skinny shoes to make it work.
