NewNiceMrMe
Arsenal. Quitters. Plain and simple.
Twinspark
No it doesn't. We've had this conversation before. The squad has been strengthened significantly. Both teams have strengthened. One team got worse, the other got significantly better. It tells us an awful lot about both managers.
NewNiceMrMe
We have different views. Martinez has done fantasically well, but one season doesn't mean he's a better manager.
Twinspark
Some irony here... Liverpool fans spent most of the last 20 years saying United only won their titles because of referee bias - but this season, they've had as many penalties as City and Chelsea combined... NewNiceMrMe
To be fair Carroll should have been booked at least, and the West Ham goal disallowed.
Twinspark
I just find it amusing that they're now saying what we've said for the last 20 years - if you have lots of possession in and around the penalty area, you're going to get the penalties and free kicks. NewNiceMrMe
I still don't think they'll win it. I was quite disappointed today, but not that they won. It was the fact that neither Suarez or Sturridge scored and they're both in my FF team.

NewNiceMrMe
I've been a complete turncoat where FF is concermed. I now have Suarez, Sturridge, Couthinho and Skrtel in my team and they're serving me very well.
NewNiceMrMe
Chris Hughton. Sacked.
garcon magnifique
The main thing that seems to be serving my FF team well is having no United players in it. Time to lose a couple of Arse players though... Not completely surprised at Hughton's sacking. He's a popular manager though, players won't be happy. That's their fate sealed now though, especially with those last four games.
cruiser647
I fear Norwich waited too long. Yes, the players liked him, but they didn't play well enough under him to ensure his survival. Some of the games they played, they should have won. Neil Lennon is the bookies favourite?
Waylander
Dunno. Win against Fulham and they are safe surely? So all this just to try for 3 more points?
NewNiceMrMe
Lennon would be mad to leave Celtic for Norwich. Other offers will come his way (although let's be honest, most managers could win the title with Celtic in that division!). I've got no United players in my FF team either. I had RVP transferred in on the day he got injured. I brought Hernandez in - and he never got a game. I had Vidic in at the start of the aeason, then he went out with injury. Oh and brought Aaron Ramsey, Sturridge and Aguero in....the week each got injured. I have had a mare of a season like the team I support. I won it last year (only 18 of us in it) and I was 16th a month ago. I'm now up to 10th and think a top 6 finish might be possible. Rather like my team. garcon magnifique
I think I could win the league with Celtic in that division... I'm second in one of my leagues (in a league of 7). I'm 72nd in the other...
cruiser647
That's maybe why Lennon might leave? Make his name in the Prem ship and move onwards and upwards?
NewNiceMrMe
Not a chance. I think he's a reasonably astute man who knows where he is well off for now.
cruiser647
Not a chance. I think he's a reasonably astute man who knows where he is well off for now. Yep, he is in a good place now, but is he getting a bit bored? Waiting for Rangers to work their way back and even then, it's still only a 2 (and a half) horse race. NewNiceMrMe
I could have done with Vertonghen scoring. The guy above me in the FF league has Adebayor. Fecker.
Torino101
Even is Arsenal win the FA cup do you think Wenger will remain in charge next year? I can't see him continuing, but then no one does stubborn quite like Arsene.
NewNiceMrMe
Arsenal won't win the FA Cup. If they continue as they are they'll slip below Manchester United and we're acknowledged to have had an appalling season (barring the Champions League). I'm not sure where the apparent optimism for the FA Cup is coming from. On form they are just about the worst team left in it! Oh and yes, Wenger will leave. 8 years of nothing. They aren't a big club when it comes to winning. They're nothing short of a small club in that respect.
