NewNiceMrMe
Indeed he has. Avram and Joel have ran the club for years now though so it'll have no impact on Manchester United. However, I do have to say I have nothing to grumble about where his ownership is concerned. The obvious financing of the club isn't good, but the fact is that the club has enjoyed immense success under their ownership and they were never shy to shell out money when Ferguson asked for it. Rest in peace.
TP27
It's just been reported that Manchester United owner Malcolm Glazer has died. Just saw that on Twatter - 85 though, did not realise his age.
Cuprabob
Looks like it could be Keane for Celtic.
garcon magnifique
And Lambert for Liverpool. I confess I don't really understand that. Unless they know Suarez is off and are preparing for a new era of mediocrity. Don't get me wrong. I rate Lambert. I've followed his career for many years, once hoping he'd turn up at Oldham some day. But top four/Champs League? Nah. Edited May 30, 2014 by garcon magnifique
NewNiceMrMe
I think Lambert will provide support for Suarez or Sturridge being out, because other than those two they've got nobody. I suspect Borini will sign for Sunderland, so it would make sense. Keane to Celtic is bizarre. He'll create havoc.
Waylander
Lambert is a "plan B" option - so many times when the tiptap didn't work we had no alternative attack method - at least that is the rationale explained to me and I can see it making sense. As you say I think Borini is out as is Ossaidi...and many of the players Buck signed last season and the season before!
Cuprabob
Celtic have announced Ronny Diela as their new manager. Not a man I know much about, if I'm honest. Edited June 6, 2014 by Cuprabob
NewNiceMrMe
Astonishing appointment. He's won the Norwegian League this year, and the Cup 4 years ago. Not numerous, like Solksjaer. Born in Norway. Playing experience - 3 clubs in Norway and just over 300 appearances in his entire career between them. Managerial experience - 2 years as Assistant, 7 as Manager. I suppose you could argue that a 5 year old could do the job at Celtic and still win the league, but it does seem rather odd.

Cuprabob
Liverpool have finally confirmed that Pitbull is leaving and on his way for an alleged £75m, courtesy of those nice chaps at Barcelona. garcon magnifique
Rumour I saw suggested the deal was less. As "little" as £59M. Who cares, as long as he's gone.
Waylander
And the £35M Arsenal have lobbed into the pot as well of course to fund it.

garcon magnifique
Fair play to Liverpool if they've got a good deal for him. I think most Liverpool fans will be happy with £75M especially as he'd already been ruled out of a third of the season. Not convinced by £35M for Sanchez to Arse but I suppose you could say he's probably more than half the player Suarez is?
NewNiceMrMe
Agree entirely on Sanchez. There's a reason they've managed to sign him with so little competition from other clubs - he blows freezing cold or red hot, and the last season at Barca saw the fans turn against him. The press out there have referred to him as someone only interested in the money and City trappings, not the football outside of the Chilean national team. He became very unpopular with 20 minute bursts of form and then not tracking back and there is a very noticeable lack of interest in his leaving Barcelona from anyone out there. I think they've bought a man who may appear as a superb player in the first few games or even few months of the season, but who will then be seen for what he is. He'll fit right in with Ozil.
