Booster
Absolutely brilliant!! On paper we had a rotten run of matches as our start to being back in the Premiership. We have held up well: Draw with Everton, draw with Arsenal, a win at Stoke, a great win today and a loss at Chelsea. To put it into perspective, we have a £30k a week wage cap and Falcao is on £360k a week. Jamie Vardy was outstanding today and Pearson's new signings are inspired: Ulloa cost £8m and he is the Premierships second highest scorer this season and Cambiasso is pure class. #lcfcineuropenextseason
Daz
Just saw this posted elsewhere The Lads - 2nd; Chambers - 4th; Podgy-Tino, 9th; Lovren, Lallana, Lambert - 11th; Shaw - 12th; Selling all your 'best' players for a truck load of cash, and still doing better then them in the league - priceless Whilst I'm under no illusion it will stay that way, it's good while it lasts.
garcon magnifique
The banner advert I just got on this page was for something called Toast. I cannot confirm whether this is some kind of Google Ad comment on United's defence.
Calm Chris
I'd be lost for words if I was a staunch Man Utd supporter from the NE. It might be (I'll watch the game later) a ref bad decision game changer, but does a few wrong decisions so screw up a game for a pedigree team to simply blame the ref? My jury is out on that until I see the highlights. It doesn't distract from the shock result, the funds put In and the simple fact that yet again points were dropped. Arsenal were lucky with Leics, given funding limits and newbie status I think they do a great job. They won, and there team might have been the better team on the day. Maybe. 5-3 makes it a legend day for the home team.
Scotty
The first two goals were class. The first penalty wasn't one. Nothing else positive to say for the Reds. Well done Leicester Edited September 21, 2014 by Scotty
Luke
Took my 8yo to his first Spurs game yesterday. Even though Spurs were garbage we had a really great day out. He loved it. Tickets weren't too bad, £37 for me and £20 for him. Booked another game in November.
Waylander
did he get any autographs afterwards Luke? one advantage of Anfield is after games if you loiter at the back gates some of the players heading to their cars will sign especially for children
NewNiceMrMe
Actually it was!! He gave a penalty that wasn't a penalty and that was the turning point of the game for us!! Thank you. As every commentator I've heard has said (and they even laughed at it during the game!), that was a complete shocker and had a huge impact on the game. Rafael should have known better than to jump in but what happened seconds before it was incredible. Clattenburg clearly decided he had to blow the whistle for those in blue and not those in red. His performance was diabolical. It doesn't excuse some atrocious defending that undid some fantastic forward play, but the decision not to penalise the shoulder barge and what followed was the turning point. I absolutely hate Clattenburg. The man is a disgrace to the game and should never referee again. Well done to Leicester for their attacking performance but we do need to sort out the defence and also make sure Clattenburg never referees another Premier League game. Waylander
Yes because clearly that incorrectly awarded penalty taking it from 1-3 to 2-3 was the reason you lost 5-3?!?! Oh come on man.
Luke
Utd can't defend and every other team in the Prem' knows it. Spurs are much the same but they can't score either!
NewNiceMrMe
Yes because clearly that incorrectly awarded penalty taking it from 1-3 to 2-3 was the reason you lost 5-3?!?! Oh come on man. I have said our defence was atrocious. However, as every single person who watched it live will admit - it completely changed the game! There was stunned disbelief that the goal had been given and United allowed it to affect them. Oh and the first goal Leicester scored should have been disallowed too. When the ball was crossed it had gone out of play. I'm not defending United (though I'd improve their defence if I played) but Clattenburg had a massive impact on the result. Scotty
You've got to wonder if Clattenburg can stay as a premiership ref. This is far from being his first bad game and when they're bad they're so bad you do wonder if he should be on the pitch.
