NewNiceMrMe
You've got to wonder if Clattenburg can stay as a premiership ref. This is far from being his first bad game and when they're bad they're so bad you do wonder if he should be on the pitch. According to reports just out, he's going to be dropped for the next match - and another 4. We lost, end of. However, he and that decision was the start of it and the decision was of a level I haven't seen in a very long time. I got a text from a Liverpool fan who has been on holiday. I received it this morning and it said exactly this: "I f*cking hate ur mob, but if Clatters got shot tonight, I'd think it was justice. WTF was that all about?" Bit harsh, but he is a scouser through and through. p.s. when he says "tonight" he does of course mean Sunday, but the text didn't send until he landed back in the UK. It's a scouse thing. Daz
I can't see how professional players earning millions and millions can be put off so much by a wrong decision that they completely crumble? Sorry doesn't make any sense. Leicester didn't crumble when they were 3-1 down.
Booster
Damn right we didn't. The MOTD2 analysis says it all. They were all over the place. At one point four players were pointing in four different directions. I have watched the highlights three times now and read numerous match reports. They all say the same thing: Man U were shocking. Tactically they fell apart whilst we stuck to our plan.
NewNiceMrMe
Blah, blah, blah, you're still a small biscuit making Town masquerading as a City.
Waylander
Rather tired this morning - having to stay up until 13 o'clock to watch the end of that bloody penalty shootout 14-13!! Some stunning penalties, some very poor goalkeeping
garcon magnifique
Perfect result that. 2 hours of football followed by an hour of penalties and at the end if it all Liverpool are still in the cup so it'll continue to sap their energy and divert their focus. I predict another hopeless defeat in the Prem at the weekend.
Waylander
Especially as Everton went out in normal time. AND we played our only creative player for the full 120+mins. Lallana is looking sharper but again played all match and our strikers remain rubbish
NewNiceMrMe
Balotelli plays one good game every three or four. I suspect this weekend might be it. Everton haven't looked good recently though.

garcon magnifique
I wonder if Ashley will bother waiting til the morning to sack Pardew? NUFC record since Dec 29: P26 W5 D4 L17 That is truly terrible.
NewNiceMrMe
I'm not laughing. I think it is really sad. Truly awful. Poor Newcastle. /excuse-me-whilst-I-go-die-laughing.
garcon magnifique
What puzzles me is the spell Ashley seems to have cast over so many of the barcodes. He must be pissing himself stupid, bleeding the club dry while the fans focus their anger on his poor, hopeless, cockney puppet.
garcon magnifique
Seen on Twatter just now: "Just heard a Liverpool fan on TalkShyte calling for Rodgers to be sacked and Tony Pulis to be appointed." :roflmao:

Calm Chris
Danny boy. Bless, move to a supportive team and a great manager and realise the prospects..
garcon magnifique
Impressive result for the Arse and a good performance from Welbeck. He could yet develop under Wenger's guidance. Great if he does, from an England viewpoint if nothing else.
Torino101
I'm not getting caught up in the Welbeck hype. I hope he does mature into a great player but there is a long way to go yet and this was just 1 performance. HOWEVER when people were laughing comparing him to the 16m also paid for Balotelli I know which one I'd rather have. I hope that arrogant sh*t never gets signed by another club, his performances do not make up for the disruption and aggro that permanently surrounds him. He's worse than a spoilt child. garcon magnifique
I actually think Balotelli had a good heart. He's just a tad immature. One thing he doesn't provide is assists. That famous assist for Aguerooooooooo to win the title was his one and only assist in a City shirt.
Waylander
I thought Balotelli would be a good punt for £16m as well to be honest but he has been utterly sh*te. Petulant to boot. Mind you he now fronts a toothless attack in front of a pedestrian midfield in front of a porous defence. Last few games I thought Woy was back in charge
Torino101
Pardew still has 6 years left on his contract which is huge. Assume Ashley doesn't want to face the huge compensation he'll have to pay if he fires him and Pardew won't resign for the same reason?!
garcon magnifique
Red herring. It might have six years to run but there will be performance clauses and termination clauses. If he goes it'll be with no more than about 12 months money.
garcon magnifique
The real question is whether Ashley wants a manager or a shameless puppet. If it's the latter (and I think it is) he may as well keep Pardew.
