NewNiceMrMe
Couple of things: Tadic is going to be a £40-50m player at this rate of performance. He is outstanding. Clyne and Bertrand in defence are superb. Strange how some partnerships come together and become something special.Liverpool? I don't know what to say. Tomorrow is a big day for United and City. I haven't a clue what will happen and I don't think many City fans do either. It could be a goal-fest.

billy2shots
As MrMe says, no idea of how tomorrow is going to go. City have been awful this season, the same as they were when we won the league last time. Yaya is too lazy to play as one of two centre kids, Silva is NOT a winger, Barry is better than Fernandinho and Fernando yet he is shipped out and we are left with two players who can only pass the ball backwards and sideways. You need 4 good strikers to compete for the league and in Europe, we have 3 and two of those are very injury prone in Aguerooooooooooo and Jovetic. I really haven't got a scooby about tomorrow or the rest of the season but Chelsea look extremely strong just now. Ps Up the Cherries! garcon magnifique
Yeah I agree, best guess 4-0 City win. I'm fairly certain there won't be a 'nil' in the scoreline. Two great attacks, two awful defences. It really should be about 6-4. (That's me just going to the bookies to put a stash on 0-0 )
NewNiceMrMe
I'm going to predict a City win. Hopefully that'll do it.
garcon magnifique
As for Liverpool, Paddy Power summed it up... "It was a game that we almost had full control of," says Rodgers, as he clutches at more straws than a masturbating scarecrow.
billy2shots
3 pretty clear penalties denied. This is not going to end well.

Torino101
Has there ever been a team in Champions league history that has repeatedly underperformed in the competition compared to their domestic triumphs as much as Man City?
NewNiceMrMe
Says the Arsenal fan after being astonishingly lucky to beat Anderlecht in the first game and then gave away a 3-0 lead in the next match against them. City are crap in the Champions League, but do remind us how many times Arsenal have won it? Edited November 6, 2014 by NewNiceMrMe

billy2shots
City have been poor there is no question. They do always get hard groups but so does every new club that competes in the competition. It's up to us to consistently get out of the groups to improve our seeding in the future. What worries me most is the lack of planning for the future. The youth teams have done pretty well over the last 4 years but no one is coming through, instead they are being sold off at 18-19 without a chance. The squad is ageing and with ffp you can't keep buying players in their prime. Couple of things to be positive. One, at least we made it into the competition and two, we still have a chance to qualify for the next round. Just the easy task of beating Bayern and Toma in Italy. Yes, they've been crap, but people in glass houses.... There's a reason I'm not saying much about Champions League football this year. I would recommend Arsenal fans do the same. Torino101
Yeas we've also been pretty dire, but it's highly unlikely we won't qualify from the group....
Calm Chris
At least we are in the CL comp, unlike Man Utd this yearn, or next, or next, or next, or next. Wave the poo stick where you wish, it just deflects from the less than great campaign Man Utd are having. Must be frustrating having spent £160m, paying a temp £200k a week and paying a chav granny grabbing captain £300k a week
garcon magnifique
Next season's Champs League should be interesting, with Southampton, Swansea and West Ham qualifying.
