TP27
. Football fans aren't going to let a few quid each month (or a tenner, or whatever) stop them watching it. What Sky give for the money is exceptional. Football fans - watching on TV. I recognise that it holds no water but to me, Football fans physically go to games but I suppose the cost to going to grounds is prohibitive. So they sit at home and watch. Indeed, Sky TV in Pubs is horrific, cost wise too for Publicans - the Sky Licence Fee is based on Ratesble Value. For the couch potato that loves Football, I suppose this deal is a dream? NewNiceMrMe
You can be a fan watching on TV - the clubs benefit from the subscribers, after all. Supporters go to matches. I try a little extra and have retained club membership, but I wouldn't disagree in the slightest that the real supporters go to the matches. Luke
That depends though. Try getting tickets for Spurs games. 50,000 plus on the waiting list for a season ticket means there are very few available and hardly any are together. In taking my 9 year old to the West Ham game next Sunday at a cost of £80 for both us. That's a months sky subscription and about 30 games of football to watch on the TV. Luke
I think that was decided a little while ago. I'm sure BT will have all the games and no one else 2015-17.

NewNiceMrMe
Ah I see. I just signed up online and then use the App to view. I then use Airplay via Apple TV to send the appalling coverage and sub-standard commentary to the television.
cruiser647
Lambert sacked. Bottom 3 was the final straw. Surprised they hadn't acted sooner. 12 goals? That is awful! + I suppose old Randy saw old 'Arry leave QPR and they started winning AWAY from home! Maybe the players couldn't understand him. I know I couldn't whenever he was interviewed! garcon magnifique
Villa v Leicester. Apart from one shot and a brilliant save, possibly the worst game of football I've seen in years. And I'm used to League One.
NewNiceMrMe
If I was Tim Sherwood, I'd be sat there thinking "What have I done?"If I was a Villa fan, I'd be sat there thinking "What have we done?"
Calm Chris
Sorry, my positive prediction curse has already been given to Arsenal, on behalf of a Boro' fan. I'll counter that with a 0-4 to neutralise your voodoo predicting. On the plus side Arsenal (if the paper talk is true) will have Wiltshire and Sanchez available. Just for once, we nearly have a full squad, at the important end of the season. Fear it

Fear it You've clearly not seen what Wenger has said today. He is unlikely to play. "Sanchez is not himself". I told you why Barca got rid. He's done very well at Arsenal so far, but he rarely gets a full season in because he seems to get to a point and then go completely off the boil. NewNiceMrMe
Poyet was having a proper whinge on Radio 5 about a penalty decision - reckoned it would have changed the game as it was before either team had scored. Another remarkable result.
M8CKN
It would have changed it if it was a penalty, but it wasn't. He mistakenly thought he was offside when he wasn't so gave up the fight, then when he realised he'd missed his chance he hit the ground like a sack of s++t looking for a penalty.
