The Championship (i.e. not the Premier League race) is far better than the Premier League for nail biting at present.

Bournemouth, Middlesbrough, Watford, Ipswich, Norwich, Brentford, Derby, every bugger under the sun is in the hunt!  Middlesbrough look likely to do it, but the finish is incredible.

I do think the Premier League top four look set now, but I think it'll end up as Chelsea (obviously), City, United and Arsenal in order.  I'll be disappointed if we don't beat City and Arsenal at home, but I can't see United beating Chelsea so that'll give City second place.

Clearly, all of this will now not happen. :roflmao:

Good result for us yesterday but today's results have gone against us. We have an easier run in than some of the other bottom clubs but ironically, we seem to do better against bigger clubs.

We shall see. No increase in the season ticket price and you get more games in the Championship.....

It's total madness, Middlesbrough were top this morning, now down to 4th, Bournemouth were 3rd, now back at the top.

Not that I care to admit it, but I was born in Watford General Hospital, and until I left for SA had always lived nearish to the area, despite working in central London. Have a bit of a soft spot for the Hornets and like to see them do well.

I wouldn't say City are cracking up because they have nothing to play for so there is no pressure to make them 'crack up'.

I just think they have been so poor all season. Pellegrini was given the job as he is a good man manager and a team with big egos needs someone with that skill. Mancini is/was the better manager but his man management was woeful.

I personally think the dinosaur managers struggle in the footballing world today. Sure if they manage a big club with loads of money they will still do ok but they will get found out when it matters.

I'm not one for wanting managers sacked but if it means coming 2nd and keeping Pellegrini or coming 4th and making a change with the next 5-10 years in mind, I would prefer the second option.

I'm going to stick my neck out and make one of those long term predictions that everybody so loves to save away and bring back out again when they turn out to be utter fantasy...

The 2015/16 Premier League Title will be a two horse race.

Between this season's Champions and the team that has just condemned City to finishing fourth in this season's two horse race.

Shall we start the betting on who will be the next City manager?

Funny how things can change in football so quickly.

Not so long ago it was United that desperately needed a huge clear out to get back in touch.

Now it's City.  They need to ditch the manager and at least half that first team squad.  And in the process they might lose the players they need to try and keep, like Aguero and (possibly) Kompany.

Doesn't mean the job is done for United mind you. But they now look two or three good signings from title challengers.
