NewNiceMrMe
Not to mention the fact they'll have yet again failed to defend a league title. Not managed it yet. Same as Arsenal. Great teams perform for more than one season.
garcon magnifique
I think that has shown just how hard it is to defend a league title. Here's a random statistic for you. Since the very beginning in 1888, the league title has been successfully defended a total of 24 times and only four teams have ever won it three years in a row.
NewNiceMrMe
..and here's another for you: The last time Manchester City came back from being behind in an away match in the Premier League at half time was.......20 years ago. Torino101
Feck me! You call Arsenal supporters bad losers, but Man U fans are even worse winners. Sh*t a brick, do you boys crow and gloat when you have a good result. No wonder the majority of other fans despise Man U. You're painful to listen to. garcon magnifique
Give the Utd fans a bit of a break, a little bit of crowing is deserved after losing the last four derbies. Edited April 13, 2015 by garcon magnifique
NewNiceMrMe
United fans have taken 18 months of flak from Arsenal fans just because they won an FA Cup and United were 'in decline'. So, the flak is coming back with a whole world of revenge included with it.
Booster
Get in! Out of the drop zone for the first time since November. Four wins on the bounce!! Chelsea on Wednesday. Will be there rooting for another!

NewNiceMrMe
Fantastic achievement by them and their last quarter form has been superb. Whether they'll go straight back down or not is something altogether different....
Scotty
FFS! ManU let me down! They didn't just lose to Everton but they did it by three fecking goals! That means for the first time this season West Ham are in the bottom half all because of 1 goal difference from that game. Feckers!
NewNiceMrMe
Horrendous decision for the third goal by the referee but Everton deserved the win. So blame the ref for that one goal difference!
Daz
I have to say I think Bournemouth are cracking up a bit. I would feel aggrieved, but they should be up by now. Watford look a certainty now, and my money would be on Middlesbrough to follow them (even though I keep telling my cousin I think Boro will end up in the play-offs). I find it almost inconceivable that Bournemouth will find themselves in the play offs after the season they've had, but their current form isn't good. . Just a reminder
NewNiceMrMe
"I find it almost inconceivable that Bournemouth will find themselves in the play offs after the season they've had" ..and I was proven correct. It was inconceivable.

Daz
Not bad for a team who started the 2008 season on -17 points in League Two and in administration.
billy2shots
Life can be weird sometimes. I bumped into one of my best school mates today. We used to go to every home game and 1 or 2 local away games when we were 13-16 years old. We fell out a bit after leaving school and this was only the second time we have bumped into each other in 16 years. He was going tonight as he is a season ticket holder with his young lad. What a coincidence! Anyway, unbelievable does not come close to describing what's happened in the last 6 years.
garcon magnifique
Seriously, what the feck is going on at Newcastle? I feel really sorry for John Carver. He seems to be the only person there from board to players who actually cares about the club. He's been well and truly hung out to dry. If there was anyone else there to support him there would be some first team players packing their bags tomorrow. As it is, I can see it being Carver. In some ways I hope they stay up and then get humiliated from the start of next season. They can't keep doing this.
NewNiceMrMe
Whilst I would get huge satisfaction locally from Newcastle going down......I'd rather Villa do. Tim Sherwood saying that Delph is the best midfielder in the country but "I don't want to go over the top...." is astonishing. The man is a joke. I hope they beat Arsenal in the FA Cup final but get relegated. I don't think they will because Sunderland look certainties because of their remaining games, but it'd be the best thing in years if Villa fans have to finally realise they're a complete farce. Newcastle are just shocking.
Busby
Such a farce that on recent form: Sherwood said that he was the best midfielder on current form - big difference from saying he is the best player. NewNiceMrMe
But he's not the best midfielder on current form, far from it! A form table is irrelevant! They're on the verge of relegation and Sherwood is deluded!
garcon magnifique
The best midfielder on current form is Jonjo Shelvey. Delph is 37th. According to Fantasy Premier League stats.
NewNiceMrMe
p.s. I want to add something as to why I think Sherwood is a deluded cock. He recently said that he couldn't compare himself to players such as Messi and Ronaldo. He went on to say - "They're your 9 or 10 out of 10 players on a rating basis, whereas I was always more of a 7 out of 10". What the?I don't ever recall Sherwood being more than a 4 or 5 at his absolute best on that scale! Edited May 3, 2015 by NewNiceMrMe
garcon magnifique
Yeah, they're 9 out of 10 at Real and Barca. He was 7 (ish) out of 10 at Blackburn.
