NewNiceMrMe
Anyway, I'm busy watching City v Liverpool and hoping that the former beat the latter - with Sterling scoring the winning goal 3 hours into injury time just to add that little more hurt..... It doesn't sit well with me, but I'd much rather City won and sent all those scousers home in tears.

I think they're all up for awards in the Oscars later today....

NewNiceMrMe
It is us or Spurs for the title. Leicester. Spurs are Arsenal in cleaner shirts. p.s. and whilst I want LCFC to win, I would take great delight in seeing the faces of Arsenal fans if Spurs were to win it. NewNiceMrMe
Quiet tonight, isn't it? Very. very few Arsenal fans to be found. I hope they've not all topped themselves. Well, it'd nice for 1-2 to survive.

Scotty
What a set of results for us!!!! I said similar with about 10 mins to go .... and then United score their goal. Grrrrrr Great season for the Hammers but also for the Premiership with it all mixed up and a multiple good battles going on.
billy2shots
What a crazy season! Leicester were cursing a below par draw on Tuesday night but today that point looks massive. Only 10 points separate 4th place to 12th place. That is unbelievable at this stage of the season and a couple of wins on the bounce changes things drastically. I fear for my team (City) though. Man U and West Ham have a very real chance of making the top 4 at Our expense.

NewNiceMrMe
Yup, seen something very similar. Arsenal. How many times do their fans have to be told "you're going to collapse". One of the few predictions I've got right this year was that United would beat them and destroy their spirit. The reality is that it had gone weeks ago and a referee gifted win against Leicester masked it. United and Swansea exposed it again. Spurs will do the same at the weekend. I'll be disappointed if United don't get 3rd place now. City and Arsenal look completely done. I'd wager City will recover but Arsenal are now at very real risk of dropping out of the top four. I won't be surprised if West Ham pip them to fifth too. Same old Arsenal, basically.
billy2shots
Just stood next to James Beattie in a post office in Westbourne, Bournemouth. I thought he was still managing or coaching somewhere but wiki says he is a man of leisure. He was with his son and the post office is about 2 minutes drive to sandbanks so I guess he has retired here.

I recall reading a story about how he used to commute from Accrington to Poole every week when he managed in the Northwest. They moved up with him and then moved back down there. Given a choice between Accrington and Poole, I think she's a wise woman... Edited March 4, 2016 by NewNiceMrMe

billy2shots
It was a weird one because he was chatting to another bloke about AFC Bournemouth and I was looking at him thinking 'I know you' but couldn't place him until I took a sneaky look at his post. One is to his mum which said 'first name' Beattie. Had to check Wiki as I left as I remembered the Accrington job. Apparently he had a short coaching roll at Swansea last year also. billy2shots
After backing Leicester City to win the Premier League title at the start of the season at odds of 5000/1, Foxes fan Jon Pryke has cashed out his £20 bet for a substantial £29,000. City are three points clear at the table with two and a half months of the season remaining. (Ladbrokes)
