Torino101
I'd be very interested to hear the Utd faithfuls thoughts on Maureen? He's not really a manager in the normal Utd mould. He is clearly a "quick fix" and may have great instant success, but at what cost? Yet another manager 2 years down the line?
Tipex
Couple of points, the only person I ever hear harping on about 'Wenger Out' is you MrMe, there may be a small but vocal minority of fans with that view, but show me a team that doesn't? 2 years ago no United fans wanted Maureen and he was rubbish. Anyway, looking forward to next season and I'll be looking at two teams in particular, Leicester and United, regardless of what team you support it's going to be a very interesting season seeing how they get on. Arsenal fluked their way out of 4th this year without a doubt, probably be back to normal service next season, so long as we finish above Spurs I'll be happy! Calm Chris
OMG. I'll say two words to you. "Wenger out". And you say United have no class? Board skills at Man Utd mirror Mile Ashley and Newcastle. You must be proud. And stop doing the normal thing, rather than throw something that's happening at another club (all be it the one that in recent years is clearly the better club- profit, transfers, management, supporters*) enlighten us about how well your board work, and the amazing skill set that leads to the old club player being fired, and LVG's wife knowing her husband is out before he knows. * those fantastically loyal Man Utd supporters that got Moyes out, and now LVG, and prior to that set up an alternative Man Utd club. Cuprabob
Sadly Man U don't seem to have learnt from the mistakes they admitted to making when Moves and them parted company.

That, above anything else you've ever said on football, tells me you're not a fan. If you are seriously trying to tell me that you don't believe millions of Arsenal fans (and it is millions) have been baying for his head on a block, then I don't believe you're actually a fan of them at all. It is akin to me trying to tell you LVG hasn't had many critics.
Andrew
Seems like Chavball is over for a couple of months. Thank feck for that. Hold the feck on, Euro-what? 'Kin 'Ell.

garcon magnifique
So today's the day that Edwar Woowar announces the Mourinho deal ... ... ... has collapsed after "negotiations hit difficulties" ... ... and that the club have been incredibly lucky to secure the services of Neil Warnock on a seven year £8M per season contract.
Cuprabob
Interesting that Chelsea "own" the rights to the Trademark "Jose Mourinho" http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36382637 I was wondering why Mr P was so quiet. He's obviously in the negotiations :-) Edited May 25, 2016 by Cuprabob

cruiser647
I see AFC have just bought a 23 yr old for £35m! Glad I was sitting down after reading that. Usually we have to wait until 2 hrs before the end of deadline day after being linked with EVERYONE throughout the transfer window! Wonder if anymore will arrive? Cuprabob
Whatever you think of LVG he has to be commended for playing Rashford. England debut and scores within a couple of minutes. It really is Roy of the Rovers stuff:-) Edited May 27, 2016 by Cuprabob

It really is Roy of the Rovers stuff:-) No he doesn't. It was a sheer fluke. Rashford would have never played a minute of football this season if Martial hadn't been injured in the warm up for the Europa League match. LVG got lucky and has taken the plaudits ever since. billy2shots
England won the Toulon tournament last night. For those who are not familiar with the tournament, it's where teams from around the world play their U20's. England for some reason play their U21's so an obvious advantage there. Regardless of the age thing, the players involved have gained some good experience of tournament football. It will be interesting to see who many go on to be full internationals. 3 would be my guess. NewNiceMrMe
Meanwhile, Slovakia, seen as the team England are assured of taking 3 points off in our group........beat Germany 1-3. In Munich. Oh. It is going to be another summer of defeats.
Cuprabob
So Rashford and Sturridge are in the the England squad for the Euros.
garcon magnifique
And so are Henderson and Wilshere. And Drinkwater isn't. I can only surmise that Woy is planning to play Wooney in the holding midfield position. Edited May 31, 2016 by garcon magnifique
NewNiceMrMe
Sturridge isn't even fit. The man is a fecking idiot. Drinkwater being left out is appalling. I can understand Rashford going with Sturridge being unfit (and unreliable in that respect`) but to take them both is ridiculous. Drinkwater should be on that plane. The sooner this is over and Hodgson is fired, the better.
garcon magnifique
You know what would solve a lot of selection issues and improve our chances at a single blow? An injury to Rooney on Thursday night.

garcon magnifique
When I say improve our chances I really mean improve our chances of looking vaguely like a coherent team and just maybe not losing all three group games.
NewNiceMrMe
Drinkwater has played superbly in all the friendlies. Roy is an idiot. I don't think he has. I think he's played well enough to get a place though and he's not been in the strongest of sides in those matches. Roy is an idiot though, but that's nothing new. They should have got rid after the World Cup.
