garcon magnifique
All the so called big clubs get 10 points a season via abusing the ref, it didn't work for them last night.Fixed that for you. Oliver has had some awful performances but from what I read of last night he did well. Di Maria was stupid but you can sort of understand his frustration, with the season as a whole.
TP27
. Di Maria was stupid but you can sort of understand his frustration, with the season as a whole. He's a Professional - paid an enormous amount of money, to act professionally and perform at the highest level.....
garcon magnifique
Oh absolutely. That's why I only said 'sort of'.
cruiser647
Some cracking goals from Schalke! Actually, all 4 of them. Shame they let Real score 3 more on the night, so out 5-4.
NewNiceMrMe
Man Utd get 10 points a season via abusing the ref, it didn't work for them last night. There was a lot of post match analysis by Man Utd supporters in the normal blind style shouting about how an Arsenal player should be red carded. As always they didn't see Side show Bob kick the crap out of the Arsenal mid field for the majority of the match, and (obviously) the sending off of of a Man Utd player was simply an outrageous injustice. image.jpg Absolute rubbish. Bellerin should have been off. Find me any channel that says otherwise - you'll not. You got lucky. 2 wins in 15 matches. One donated by the ref. It says everything about the success of Arsenal. NewNiceMrMe
I can be, but if you're trying to say I should be when United were very badly done to (on the Bellerin incident, not Di Maria, he deserved to go) to, then I would have to disagree. Had it been reversed, you would have been seething too. We were poor, especially in the second half, but now and again you get incidents where every media outlet says the same and that just adds to the feeling of ill will. I haven't seen a single one say Bellerin shouldn't have been off. The referee bottled it in huge fashion and we paid the price for it. I happen to think it'd have probably been a draw had he been sent off. I don't think we were playing well enough to win, but I doubt very much you'd have won. garcon magnifique
Thing is all that effort expended on a decent performance last night was wasted due to the piss poor performance in the first leg. Looking forward to laughing at City tonight.
NewNiceMrMe
Look, nothing bitter about it, Torino - you're out. Again. No Champions League trophy, ever. But you think I should say "Oh well done Arsenal, you tried". Nope, not gonna happen. Worst supporters in the world, evidenced yet again on Twitter with "Unlucky Arsenal" trending at No.3 in the UK and all the gooners saying how they should have gone through. if only, if only. It finished 3-3. You didn't win the tie. I find it funny because of the constant crowing of the fans, not necessarily you. Wenger is the epitomy of it. Saying Monaco didn't deserve to go through and "weren't worthy". Oh please. That is bitter.
Torino101
I love how you always force the views of the fans you have seen on Twitter as being the same as the Arsenal supporters on this site.
garcon magnifique
I don't really care about what the fans say. They simply prove they can't remember two weeks ago. Wenger's comment that Monaco "are not worthy winners" is factually wrong, disrespectful and just a little bit pathetic. Monaco are a very average European side, but they won the tie in the first leg due to an utterly dire Arsenal performance.
Tipex
I like the assumption that fans of any one team are any different to fans of any other team. Fans are all the same, no matter what team they support.
