NewNiceMrMe
No problem, we are now guaranteed a CL placing. Yes, I'll readily admit your recent performances have been very good indeed. Arsenal look certain to finish second. They'll certainly finish above United and we're going to have to try to secure the fourth spot or battle it out with City for third. I am of the view we'll take fourth. I was wrong about Sanchez. He had his little disappearance earlier this year but it was nothing like as long as it always was at Barca (where he'd disppear off the face of the earth for 5 months). Whether they can carry this form into 2015/16's season is another thing altogether. There is clearly something lacking for that final push. The goalkeeper needs sorting out with a new acquisition. I agree with Phil and Gary Neville on that one. I think there are other things needed to - such as a new striker. However, I don't mind saying when a team has done well and Arsenal have done very well of late. I don't think they're threaten for the league next year, but I do think they're cementing a place as potential challengers at some stage if they keep up the momentum. The difficulty will be if City and United sort their form out and make it interesting. I'd love to see a 4-club challenge for the title next year. It has been sadly lacking this season but I don't want to take away from the ruthless and cold efficiency that Chelsea have shown. They are worthy Champions and the criticism of them is ludicrous.
Calm Chris
I'd like to see Southampton (my team of the season, even given the poor final third part of the season), Spurs, Swansea and Liverpool up the anti and keep on challenging the top four usual suspects. The better the quality of the whole league, the more interesting is will be. Most under performing team of the season, well City over Liverpool for me. I hope Wenger sells Walcott, and looks for a £45m striker.
billy2shots
Looks like UTD are going to land Depay. £25m is the rumoured value. Not sure what that means for Di Maria and Janudive. A steady stream of chatter suggesting Falcao could also stay until January lol.
dazdot
I'm not a big football fan, so be gentle. I work in a small village near Derby and know the local estate agent. He has told me that he has just sold a house to the Burnley Manager. By putting 2 and 2 together most people here can only come up with the obvious that he is to leave Burnley and take over at Derby. Sorry if this is incorrect or old news, just thought you would like to know.
Luke
Tony Adams wants to buy Aston Villa for £150M!!
NewNiceMrMe
It isn't Adams....
cruiser647
Not sure what Adam's role would be? The old 'Director of Football' guff or drink dispenser or fitness coach? £150m isn't that much when you look at some of the values of other prem teams. Such a gulf in values in the same league. NewNiceMrMe
This is all conjecture. The guy making the bid knows Adams. A year ago he asked him if he'd be interested in an advisory role if they bought a club, and if it was Villa, what did he know about them. That is the extent of it! It was confirmed on 5 Live last night - Adams being involved has no real substance to it whatsoever other than the fact he is a friend of his! Booster
Leicester are down as much as Chelsea have won the league. It is now just a case of who joins them. Sunderland have a nightmare run-in, but the result today was as expected - 5 wins in a row against Newcastle and 7 games without defeat to them. Woohoo! We survive! Another top sporting prediction MrMe You can do the same next season if you want!

NewNiceMrMe
A win against Arsenal today isn't going to see us finish above them even if we beat Hull next week - because they'll murder Sunderland and the game in hand will be telling. So, I hope Louis Van Gaal decides to consolidate position (he has achieved the goal he was set of Champions League qualification) and puts the youth team out. Or, better still, play Di Maria - and then we're bound to lose 4-0 and I'll be a happy bunny watching Newcastle go into meltdown! I would have the best summer you could possibly imagine in this region! Edited May 17, 2015 by NewNiceMrMe
Scotty
The Hammers seem to have given up on anything other than a mid-table finish so don't rely on them for a Newcastle result.

Calm Chris
Blame the Sunderland goal keeper, like the Swansea goal keeper- they both had busy, but good nights against Arsenal. We've been poor recently. Will Hull turn over Man Utd, is Rooney still unfit, do I care..

NewNiceMrMe
Seriously, I will be hoping all Man United players get sent off in the 1st minute, Hull romp to a 5-0 win (they might manage that against nobody) and West Ham get at least 4 penalties. In the first 10 minutes. I cannot tell you how joyous my summer up here will be if those b*stards go down.
