Can't believe Falcao is still gainfully employed in the Premier League

Falcao will come good for Chelsea.  I'd have rather he'd stayed at United.

They'll get him back to full fitness and give him a decent run of games - something Van Gaal never did and will come to regret in my opinion.

I said this on FB yesterday and listened to 5 Live's coverage of the match.  Bournemouth cannot afford to lose at home to a club like Villa.  It didn't sound good.

I hope they do well and stay up because I'd like to see Howe progress.  However, the commentators thoughts on their performance yesterday wasn't good.  Mind you, one of them was Joey Barton who said "I'm the best player in the stadium today". :roflmao:

I fully expect Bournemouth to go down and possibly beating a few of Swindon's unwanted records in the process.

I don't think it will harm Eddie's reputation or at least I hope it won't. We will then begin next season in the championship in a stronger position than when we left.

Investment has been made in the squad, facilities and the bank balance will have grown. Then a push for the Prem will be on with the aim of staying up that time.

I don't think their relegation is guaranteed.

Norwich were unlucky yesterday but Palace have a very good team.  However, I think Norwich will struggle.  Their signings look awful.

Villa could go down.  I hope so.

Sunderland are already showing they'll have trouble again.

Watford will struggle, but I think they'll be the team to experience the sudden drop later in the year and I think they'll go down.

I also think Everton are in real problem territory.  I think Martinez will be sacked by January.

I wasn't in the Country, I'm was in the Capital :)

(Fortunately not at Emerates, and more fortunately at a do with no football being watched).

Pre the game how many millions of Arsenal supporters were think this is our season? And how many of those millions changed there minds 90 minutes later :)

Just awaiting the mutterings from the Wenger out crowd..

I managed to provoke a response from a couple of life long Arsenal fans I.e. prised them out of their hidey holes!

The father in law:

"Most disappointing, Arsenal have only won the Emerates Cup, Barclay's Asia Trophy, and retained the FA cup and the Community Shield THIS YEAR.

I'm quite upset. Got to wait 9 months to win the Premier League or any thing else. And now to loose to some team - who did you say it was. Oh don't worry, I won't remember!"

Best mate :

"Shocker! Still gonna win the league though"

"Can't diss West Ham as they played well, and <wife's> family all West Ham!"

The 'we've won 3 trophies' mob were being talked about by Ian Wright on 5 Live last night.  He said he couldn't believe Arsenal fans classed those as trophies won.

They're glorified friendlies.  Everyone knows it.

Still, when you've decided for the 11th year in a row that this'll be your year, you've got to cling onto something.

The Reece Oxford jokes on Twitter, with Ozil in his pocket, were fantastic.

Pretty sure there's not a single Arsenal fan who cheers the Pre-season Treble in any other tone than jokingly. I'm amazed that Ian Wright didn't join in the silliness.

They're not even "glorified" friendlies. They're friendlies with an advertiser.

I'm glad the host of the BBQ I was at yesterday doesn't have Sky. Only 37 more games to go  and still only 1 point behind Chelsea, so far.
