As a non-football fan, can I just say how much I'm enjoying watching that arrogant windbag Mourinho share his mental meltdown in public with the world?

Your view is shared by a great many football fans too. :roflmao:

I said very early in the season that my liking for him had gone.  I used to like his personality and manner.  However, it became evident very quickly this season that he'd changed into an unsporting and very poorly behaved child who simply can't accept defeat.

That said, I think they'll turn it around.

Does anyone else play the Sky Super 6 game? A free entry every week with a chance to win £250k if you get 6 results correct. 10 people won it a couple of weeks ago and shared the jackpot between them.

They have increased this week's jackpot to £1m!!

Might as well have a go as it is free!

Bloody Bournemouth have ruined my Super 6 already!

Your lot were lucky at the end MrMe!!

Get stuffed! :roflmao:

Never a penalty for them to begin with in my opinion and we got what we deserved with the equaliser.  The never-say-die spirit was there again and we'd dominated for the most part.  De Gea made a few good saves but he's part of the team as much as anyone and I thought a draw would have been a travesty based on performance.

Leicester top.....

What Vardy has done is mind blowing when you think about it. It would have been a brilliant achievement at Utd, City, Chelsea etc but to do it at Leicester is remarkable.

That said, his game suites the counter attack style brilliantly so he probably wouldn't be able to recreate that at a 'bigger club' when you often face 10 men behind the ball.

Can't see that record being broken for a while. How many more games can he add to it!

Fantastic achievement by Vardy.  I helped him with my prediction, as usual. :roflmao:

United would have taken all 3 points if they had another striker and LVG finally acknowledged that Rooney needs dropping.  But he won't.

Still, Leicester deserve to be where they are and, in some respects, I was happy with the point.

The idea that Rooney needs dropping really gets to me. I'm not necessarily saying it's wrong, more that I'm having difficulty accepting it. He's still a fantastic player, one of those who could have climbed to the status of a true great if he'd performed on the biggest stage (i.e. for England at tournament).

Maybe the question is whether he is able to adapt to different positions and tactics. His game is instinctive, and although he's matured to be a good captain for both club and country you'd probably be right to say he's not one of the game's greatest thinkers on the pitch.

So that leads to a question about the manager. Is the real problem that LVG's tactics don't suit Rooney's game? And if that's the case, is Rooney still good enough that the manager should be arranging his selection and tactics around his best player? If the answers to those questions are yes and no respectively, then I fear the love affair between Rooney and Manchester United might be coming to an end.

You have to say there's something wrong when United are in second and look capable of winning the title and yet there appears to be a huge amount of fan unrest about the manager and his tactics. That can't just be delusional fans can it? I've always believed that results and silverware matter more than tactics, never been one of those "purists" who prattle on about how the game should be played a certain way. But I wouldn't have a moment's regret if LVG left tomorrow.

He just isn't performing, regardless of the position he is being played in.  He looked slow and disinterested for most of yesterday.  When he gets a shooting opportunity he usually fluffs it nowadays.  That was evident on more than one occasion yesterday.  When you score as few goals as we do, you can't afford that.

The reason we're in second place is because of an outstanding defence.  LVG's tactics are indeed the thing I have an issue with because when our defence does let a goal in - we don't look too likely to get one back.

I'm not bothered about the style.  I agree that results are what matter.  However, Carrick back in midfield yesterday after a return from injury, against possibly the fastest attacking side in the league?  It just doesn't work.  I cannot fathom what he was doing in that choice when Periera was available.

We'll be going out of the Champions League soon because of LVG's tactics.  That is completely unacceptable given the money he has spent.

Let;s be honest, we're in the top 4 in the league because others have been as inconsistent as United, not because we've been doing wonderfully well.
