I'm now getting a little bit excited.

The Banker (sky bet) called me after the Stoke game and offered me £1350 for my 2500/1 £10 bet.

I said no. They will probably ring again after tonight's game

and I will still say no.

I'm enjoying this too much and whatever the offer, if we fall over at the last hurdle I will still have only lost a tenner.

It's a make or break few games for the foxes and so far so good. I've made no secret that I fully expect them to fall short but that doesn't mean I am not fully enjoying their great effort. Every week I wait for the bubble to burst and it just doesn't.

It would be great if they can build on this and use any success to establish themselves as a top 6 club. Enjoy this season yes but don't let it be a one off.

I also am waiting for Leicester to slip up, (would make great drama if they did it), they have been immense to have held on so long. Fully expect City to win the league, only thing worse than Arsenal ending up 4th again..... would be Spurs winning it.

I never commented on the early seasons jibes about Arsenal fading as per usual, because, well they always do and this season is looking no different. Doesn't mean it doesn't hurt any less, its horribly gut wrenchingly predictable.

I never join in on the Arsenal bashing because I think how the club operates is near perfect and a model for all clubs to aspire to. With that I accept the relative lack of recent silverware.

It does constantly puzzle me why they don't strengthen in key areas at vital times. The whole world knew they needed a decent keeper but Wenger delayed and delayed. That strong defensive midfielder and quality centre back is also a no brainier.

However even with those faults they were/are in a strong position. A decent striker to share the load with Giroud could have fired them to the title but again Wenger is too stubborn. Yes a decent striker would be cup tied for CL games but who cares. The CL is miles away from any British team at the moment, the league on the other hand is there for the taking.

Leicester will win it.  I said it a few months back and I don't see the multiple predictions of them falling away becoming anything like reality.

City aren't good enough.  Arsenal are Arsenal and well into their seasonal decline as usual.

Spurs are the dark horses and performing very well.

However, Leicester show no signs of letting up and frankly they're the best team in the league - and that's the team that always wins, regardless of what Wenger claims time and time again.

I'm thoroughly enjoying it.  Especially the Arsenal fans whinging again (and I will not hide my liking of Arsenal bashing, not one bit!).:roflmao:

I have been doing rather well on my predictions of late.

I even predicted Southampton winning at Old Trafford. :roflmao:

That said, I did think Derby County would beat us too, but that one let me down.  I'm not sure what happened against Stoke last night, it didn't appear to be United playing. :roflmao:

Seriously though, there is nothing to suggest Leicester aren't favourites.  Vardy has come back looking sharper than ever and Mahrez should get player of the year.  Schmeichel is looking more like his father with every game and the rest of the squad is rock solid dependable.

I just don't see anyone threatening them.  City were lucky to come away with 3 points last night but they managed it.  Arsenal, well, do I need to say?  Spurs are the only team I can see spoiling the party now, but I think their chances are low.

Ultimately, Leicester have their destiny in their own hands now.

I'd be concentrating on your Europa challenge with Midtjylland (ha, ha- wtf :) ) maybe Man Utd have the prospect of winning something this season.

Whilst I accept that Arsenal don't make life easy for themselves, we have Leicester, Spurs and both the Manc teams to play. All or any of which could easily change PL standings. Yeah there's a few points been dropped, hardly an unrecoverable situation is it?

Thanks for your prediction.

Gary Neville.

Tough times for the former Utd player. It was a strange appointment when friend and business partner Peter Lim gave him the Valencia job. Straight away I imagined it would get the backs up of many Valencia fan and employee.

Good player, likeable pundit but using video replays to rip holes in teams performance and managerial decisions is a world away from doing it for real. I don't think his problem is that he has lost the dressing room, the problem is he never had it.

It takes balls the size of water melons to pack up and move abroad with no grasp of the local language. He also left a cushy job where he had built up a lot of respect. For those reasons I hoped he would do well.

0 wins from 8 league games.

7-0 in the Cup v Barcelona.

This is going to end very badly indeed. I'm not sure how he left his sky contract and if there is an option for him to slide back in after his 6 month Valencia deal but if there is no agreement I can see that opportunity gone now.

Very few will respect his point of view and criticism of other managers tactics etc when he failed so miserably himself.

I also worry what this means for his managerial career, could it be over before it has really began?

Hopefully he can string a few league wins together and finish well. Valencia were just outside the CL places when he took over with the remit of qualifying for the CL. That has well and truely gone now but these games coming up could go a long way in deciding his future in football.

If Leicester beat City at the weekend, I can't see anyone stopping them.

Even a draw might be enough.

I won't be surprised to see them lose this weekend though.  Aguero looks fully fit again, Silva is starting to pull the strings once more, but it all depends on whether they can make the most of their chances (it's the consistency of finishing they seem to struggle with) and keep Leicester at bay.  If they (LCFC) break, you know you've got a major issue on your hands.

I imagine the odds on Otamendi being sent off won't be very appealling.  If Mahrez and Vardy break free, he knows one thing - hack them down.
