Already on the hook for five season tickets having opened my big gob at the start of the season saying that I would buy my footie mate's tickets for next year if we win.

And a bloody expensive night out in Manchester if we win the title at Old Trafford.

All this before this Mrs gets going with it!

There it is, Chri5, Manchester City in the Champions League semi-finals - but they've failed?  :roflmao:

I think that was a strong performance over 2 legs and shows that a good few in that squad have taken their minds off the league and focused on something else.

I don't think they'll win it, but nor would I say it'd be a surprise.

On their day, if the big players rise to the occasion, they can do it.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo showed why he's nothing short of incredible.  That was a one-man win.

The difference in cashing out early vs going all the way really wasn't that much so I don't blame him at all.

An interesting thought from last night. Man City may have just caused Man U some pain. I wouldn't be surprised if PSG get rid of Blanc. They are desperate for CL success and he can't get past the quarterfinals.

Who would be the perfect replacement ?

Jose Mourinho!

I cashed out on my big bet last night.

If you look back in this thread I said I never would.

I still believe that we will win the league but cannot afford to throw away this kind of money.

I have left my other three bets on which will payout £5100 if we win.

As MrMe knows I have had a nice payout from Betfred already and that sum in addition to the Skybet payout is more than anyone can ever dream of happening in a lifetime.

I might actually sleep without dreaming of football results now.

It is your lot that have tipped me over the edge.

I think it will be a draw tomorrow and that will dent the offer and give Spurs an advantage.

I'm surprised. Lets say you took just 5 points out of the next 5 games (unlikely as your average is over 2 per game) then Spurs would need to get 12 out of 15 .... also unlikely.

From my point of view the ballsy time to hold onto the bet was earlier in the season. I'd be backing Leicester to win .... although I confess logic and reasoning is a lot easier when there's no financial pressures.

Cheers gents.

The risk / reward got to the point where it wasn't worth the stress.

I have genuinely been losing sleep over it. The other bets leave me an interest but this one being out of the way with the BF one means I got to where I wanted to / dreamed of being.

Are you willing to publish the numbers?

Well done on whatever you've taken away from it - you've certainly done good  +++

What's left on the table to play for?

For me my dream season is that WHU get to the last game at the Boleyn against Man U and that it's a decider* for Europe ... and of course that they smash it!  :)

My predictions for the run in :
Leicester (A) Draw

Watford (H) Win
WBA (A) Win

Swansea (A) Draw/Lose
ManU (H) WIN
Stoke (A) Lose/Draw

I reckon they'll finish on 63 points.

How did West Ham do in their last game against Man United, at the Boleyn Ground?

I know it was a home game but they arrived late to it. They only turned up for the last 20mins of play!  :(

Scotty, see the pic in my post! Top right corner. That's the number.

As well as where Vardy will place the penalty he gets against you tomorrow! :)

Aha! Missed that  +++

I think you could be right about a penalty. Andy Carroll seems to be getting a bit carried away as each game goes by. I'm hoping Payet gets another chance as the one squanders against ManU needs to be forgotten about quickly.
