Booster
Ooya!! No Vardy for the next game and scaped a draw. Not good.

Scotty
I think you could be right about a penalty. Andy Carroll seems to be getting a bit carried away as each game goes by. It was so likely it could have been predicted. I should have put some cash on for a Carroll penalty and a draw. NewNiceMrMe
Leicester would have taken a draw beforehand and I think it's a decent result. Lot's of people panicking over nothing. Spurs have to beat Stoke yet and that won't be easy. Even then it'll leave a 5 point cushion.
Scotty
Wow! Liverpool could over take WHU now. 2 points behind with a game in hand. Sneeky feckers creeping up like that! Edited April 17, 2016 by Scotty
Booster
I have done absolutely no work today. All I have done is read match reports, articles about refereeing, discussed yesterday's match and the upcoming one tonight. Had to come home for a rest!! NewNiceMrMe
I find the analysis of the refereeing decisions to be astonishing. He made a couple of dodgy calls. They pretty much evened out (Huth was-a-penalty for the later was-not-a-penalty) with the possible exception of Vardy being booked for the first offence (seemed very harsh to me). That said, he knew he was on a yellow and was rather silly to dive. However, the press are having a bloody field day. This is not going to change the fact Leicester should win the title and almost certainly will win the title. A draw against West Ham would have been a result they'd have taken if offered it in advance. I think it might be because they want people to think the ref is going to rob Leicester of the title. They're too good for that to happen. If anyone genuinely thinks Leicester are cracking or showing signs of pressure, I think they're off their heads. People have been saying it since the start of the season!
billy2shots
I don't see what the fuss is all about really. Leicester have done better than anyone on earth could have imagined but Vardy has dived all season and Huth and Morgan have been overly aggressive in their marking of players. Do other defenders do what they do? Yes but as a neutral who wants Leicester to win the league, Huth and Morgan do go a little further. Every cross or goal kick sees both players physically move the opposition before winning a header. Both players had been warned a couple of times in that game so to continue to pull and push was stupid. As MrMe says the mistake was the first Vardy yellow. Also Leicester were on the lucky end of the decision in getting their penalty which was criminal. On balance Leicester should take this as a point gained and not dwell on things. Vardy's suspension is obviously the biggest issue but you play the odds when you dive and Vardy has won several dubious penalties this season so his luck was going to run out at some point. Don't panic though as Spurs won't win tonight. Whenever Leicester fail to win everyone thinks it's the week when things change and every time other results go their way. Arsenal have already played their part and now Spurs will follow suite. MrMe has said it for months, it's written in the stars. NewNiceMrMe
Huth and Morgan are hard, hard, bite your ankle, defenders. But...I'm not convinced they're any worse than others. I think this is what happens when you're at the top for a long time. It happened to United, Chelsea and City. People look for the reasons you're there and then they pick away at things. I think Vardy dives less than a lot of strikers too. I admit I admire the guy for his style of play and I may be biased because of that, but it's the way he sticks the boot in that I like. If anyone is lacking in the spotlight from Leicester right now, I think it is Kasper Schmeichel. He has been excellent for them but I don't think he gets the plaudits he deserves. Apart from the obvious saves, I think he's dominating the area these days - in a way similar to that of his father. That's about the biggest accolade I could give him because I still think his Dad was the best keeper the Premier League, if not the world, has seen. I agree on Spurs too. When Leicester drew, I was sat wondering why everyone appeared to think it was a disaster because Spurs were bound to win. At Stoke? Hmm, I'm not so sure! I won't be surprised if they get beat or it's a draw (I'd put money on the latter).
billy2shots
Kasper has been brilliant. That save onto both posts in the first minute was world class. His dad. The best ever, simple as that.

Booster
Stoke looked knackered from the kick off and Spurs had a fantastic pace. I'm nervous. Very nervous. No Vardy for at least one game. Psychologically that will be massive for the team.
S3Bangs
Well done on cashing in Booster. Fantastic return. Don't be nervous. I'm not and I'm rooting for you. I'm sure Leicester will do it. Think of it. Four games to go. Spurs are 5 points behind. It might go down to the wire but I'm sure you'll get there'. I think the Swansea game is a massive game for Leicester. Win that and its over in my book. Trust me. I've spoken to God and he told me. Shame he didn't tell me at the at the beginning of the season.

Booster
No away colours in hospitality at Old Trafford so I have been and bought subtle LCFC pin badges for all the lads that are going. Even the Man U supporters of the group are going to wear them!!
Booster
Just phoned Skybet. The offers on my remaining three bets have gone down by 17% since Friday. That would have been £3300 less on the big one. We need a miracle tonight: Newcastle to beat Man City so that they have something to play for on the last day against Spurs!! Please don't let the whole thing be down to goal difference......
NewNiceMrMe
No away colours in hospitality at Old Trafford so I have been and bought subtle LCFC pin badges for all the lads that are going. Even the Man U supporters of the group are going to wear them!! Yup, it has always been like that with away colours. Same in all boxes and other parts of hospitality. I once watched as two Everton fans in a box took off jumpers to reveal their club shirts underneath. They lasted all of about 10 minutes before being ejected from the ground! They were big clients of the box holding company too but they refused to cover the shirts up. I have also watched as two Preston North End fans were almost lynched in a box at Sunderland. They did similar to the above but the box (a newspaper) was directly above the most fervent section of Sunderland fans. They were standing on shoulders to get onto the balcony at the front of the box and the Preston fans had been drinking far too much. Security spent more time trying to stop the Sunderland fans from killing them than getting the Preston fans out of the stadium. billy2shots
Wow Everton look a shambles. No players and no form guarantees Man U the FA cup. With City still hopeless away from home Utd could take 4th in the league. LVG really could stay! Did anyone have the misfortune of watching Newcastle v City on Tuesday. It was without doubt the worst match I have seen in a long time. For the last 25 minutes both teams were just smashing the ball clear down field to no one. It was like a bad Sunday league game. Then the officials played their part with a mind boggling display. Aguero clearly offside from start to finish for his goal, no penalty for him later (officials evening things up) but not just the obvious mistakes, there were loads of through ins given incorrectly as well as corners given as goal kicks and vice versa. It was like the chuckle brothers were in charge. I question Pellegrini playing 5 players who are out of contract soon and know they won't be staying. It looked like they were in the beach already. Thought Crystal Palace were a disgrace last night. Wholesale changes (why do big clubs get fined for not fieldi their strongest team but it's ok for lesser teams to throw a match) and a complete lack of effort from those that did play. What's the point of saving yourself for the FA cup, you have zero chance of winning it. If they do make it through to the final they will freeze on the big stage and Utd will win 3-0. I'm sure Pardew would be screaming if he was in a relegation fight and his rivals were handed 3 points because another team played within themselves with a bunch of squad players. NewNiceMrMe
LVG really could stay! That's by far the most offensive thing you've ever said on here! LVG is gone. Done. Finished. Kaputt. It doesn't matter if they win the FA Cup, qualify for the Champions League and build a tower to get to the Moon - he's still gone.
Booster
Match day at last. I thought that cashing out the bet might make sleeping easier. Wrong. Please keep Leicester in your thoughts and don't scroll down without saying amen!! Ha ha ha!! Edited April 24, 2016 by Booster
NewNiceMrMe
They'll win today. 2-0. Spurs will then hammer WBA tomorrow and we'll move on to next weekend and the Manchester United away trip for Leicester. I really do think that is going to be the crunch point now and I also think you'll get a draw.
