cruiser647
Has Booster risen yet? What odds for Leicester to keep the title next year? Or even finish in the top 4? How much are you putting on Mr Booster?
Booster
I am at work! Car horns still blaring out this morning! Will definitely have a bet on Premier title and also Champions League but the odds will be NOTHING like this year!!
NewNiceMrMe
Well done Leicester City. What a shame Spurs ended their tiny hopes of the title with such a disgraceful show of no discipline. Should have probably ended that match with just 8 players on the pitch. However, the day and the summer belongs to Leicester and rightly so. They won it, Spurs didn't lose it. CarMad
Bookies are apparently not concerned about any losses they might see this year as they are expecting a lot of people to go for long shots next year that won't or are highly unlikely to work out next year leaving them up overall. Yes, I've heard some idiots are even going to place bets on Arsenal winning the league! I mean, come on! Leicester, yes, but Arsenal?

NewNiceMrMe
So football people. What are the opinions on Middlesborough getting automatic promotion on Saturday? I have a sneaking suspicion Brighton will beat them. They should do it because they only need a draw, but the signs of nerves have been there. It is easily the biggest game in the football league system this year. £100m on a single game (the same as the play off final, ultimately). Calm Chris
What is it with clubs being with L ? Somehow the scousers are in the Europa final, well done Klop and Co.
billy2shots
Thank goodness someone broke the Spanish stranglehold on the European final places. Seville looking for their third straight UEFA cup is a story in itself and will be a tuff nut to crack. A little disappointed in my team against Real on Wednesday, outclassed and intimidated really but it's a stepping stone so not too down about it. A couple of very nice games for Leicester coming up. A home game to celebrate the win then away at Cheksea who will make Claudio feel 10ft tall. The race for 4th and survival should keep the rest of us entertained. NewNiceMrMe
City were appalling. Absolutely appalling. The worst performance of any club in a Champions League semi-final that I have ever seen. I'd go as far as saying they looked disinterested. I'm not just saying that because of who they are. Believe it or not, I wanted them to win and that's saying something for me. I couldn't believe how utterly crap they were. I don't think it is a stepping stone other. It looked like "don't give a feck" to me. Serious reorganisation required from Guardiola on that evidence. As for Liverpool, well I hate Klopp for being too nice and I now hate him even more. I just hope Seville batter them or score in the dying seconds of injury time when it is 0-0 in the final. That'd be epic.

Scotty
I know this won't mean much to most of you but I found it quite emotional. It really shows how these old grounds are firmly part of a community....or at least was. https://www.facebook.com/guardianfootball/videos/1204882016191465/
Booster
It is going to be emotional in more ways than one tomorrow. We have Andrea Bocelli singing to us! He is changing the words of Time to Say Goodbye to Time to Win Again. Think I will still cry as it has been the soundtrack to too many funerals that I have been to.... http://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/may/06/andrea-bocelli-leicester-inspiration-everyone-title-winners
billy2shots
Booster I heard on the wireless that Paddy Power are hiring a coach and decorating it in all things Leicester. All the winning punters who backed Leicester at the start of te season are having a day out around the City with free booze etc all day. Obviously a Good way to advertise and was wondering if your bookies had anything planned. Edited May 6, 2016 by billy2shots

Obviously a Good way to advertise and was wondering if your bookies had anything planned. My bookies have no money left for celebrations!! I have seen the Paddy Power bus driving round town all week. Skybet wanted me to do a photo shoot with other people that had bets on pre payout but my response was "feck that!!" Treated myself to a new watch today. One of the big jewellers in town was offering 25% off anything to anyone that could produce a 5000/1 bet slip. Mine was 2500/1. Rang them and asked if they could do the same deal for me and they said yes. Pity they don't stock the brand I wanted. Went to the place that does and told them about the offer. They didn't match the percentage but I really wasn't expecting them to. The brand isn't exactly known for discounting. Still got a cracking deal though!!
