garcon magnifique
I don't see him getting another Premier League job. He has one plan and it was rumbled two years ago. No coach who'd rather stick to his principles and lose deserves a top job.

garcon magnifique
I'll support anybody against L**ds and Millwall. Suffice to say my preferred outcome of any match between those two clubs has yet to happen. (And strongly suggests there is no Divine power). billy2shots
It's such a tough one. City make the CL and LVG is sacked or Utd make the top 4, win the FA cup and he stays. Obviously we all want our team playing in the premier European competition but LVG has bought us all so much fun and pleasure. It's a pickle for Utd as it seems Giggs will walk if Jose turns up for his usual 2 1/2 season stint. Poch has just signed a new deal at Spurs and he would have been an ideal replacement. The real worry is Woodward gets something right for a change and somehow gets Simeone. Failing that it's keep LVG or the choice between a couple of out of contract managers. NewNiceMrMe
There is no debate. Even if we make the top 4 and win the FA Cup he's still getting sacked. LVG is gone. Mourinho will join before the end of June. That's that. I honestly don't know why people think there is even the remotest chance of him staying! garcon magnifique
I honestly don't know why people think there is even the remotest chance of him staying! Because 4th place and the FA Cup may even exceed the targets he was set for this season. And because Woodward is clearly an utterly clueless ****. And also because it would be hilarious watching the United fans squirm and behave more and more like Arsenal and Liverpool fans. And because any residual part time United support that is still within me doesn't want Mourinho. I don't want LVG either, I think he's an alcohol pickled clinically insane dinosaur. And another thing. Now that Manchester United is nothing more than a global commercial brand, football and success on the pitch has become irrelevant. If you doubt that, just look at the company results announced yesterday. Record revenue and profits after the worst three seasons since it was a faded shell of a once big club worth next to **** all playing in a derelict ground and run by an idiot meat pie salesman. Not so much of a debate, more wishful thinking on my behalf. We need to saver these last couple of weeks with LVG in charge because most of us know a decent manager and lavish spending will only equal trophies. garcon magnifique
Have Arsenal got an open top bus parade arranged? I mean, fluking second place having been shit all season, due to the abject capitulation of that other club up the road must feel like winning? garcon magnifique
And yes, both Manchester teams have been utterly abject, apart perhaps from De Gea and Aguero. The summer should be entertaining for those interested in Man United. I can see a whole catalogue of hilarious announcements... LVG and Woodward are staying on renewed contracts... Woodward's in the final stages of negotiating deals to sign Neymar, Messi and Ronaldo... Rooney finally gives up and goes to China... Giggs leaves to take the manager's job at Salford... Despite Woodward's daily press conferences, the club actually sign nobody in the summer, finally managing to seal a deal on deadline day to bring Cameron Jerome in for £45M. LVG's targets for the new season are leaked to the press: "Just stay up, and sign somebody Chinese."
Torino101
The utter animosity from specifically Utd fans towards Arsenal is hilarious. Is this what you're reduced to now Manure is repeatedly finishing outside of the champions league? Edited May 15, 2016 by Torino101
Scotty
I knew WHU wouldn't win today and given the other fixtures I was resigned to 7th.....which in itself is fabulous! A year ago people were saying the aim was to build the team up to sit in the top 6. It seemed optimistic. GIven this years finish, the investments and the new revenue from the the new ground (season tickets sold out by the way) really makes it a very positive season. A great season all around with Liverpool and Chelsea out of it and it really mixed up at the top. 2016 has been a top year for Premiership football.
