billy2shots
So, given the Rashford selection some more thought and have come to the conclusion that he is 100% in the final 23 (as long as he doesn't get injured in the FA Cup final) England begin the U21 Toulon tournament tonight and surely this would be a great opportunity to send someone like Rashford to. It would give great tournament experience which will only aid players in the future full international competitions. The fact Rashford has not been selected for the U21's means he is a shoe in for the final 23 of the Euros, so get down your favourite bookies now and lump every spare penny you have on him making the cut. Or as usual England have absolutely no fecking clue what they are doing.

NewNiceMrMe
On England - decent squad given the options but we'll still be shit. I don't even waste much time thinking how far we'll get now. Because we won't.

NewNiceMrMe
Good news! Looks like England Euro 2016 Champions! I don't think my forecasts of England's inevitable failure have ever been wrong. Unfortunately. One thing I have learned about our national team is that you start by imagining how far they might get in your wildest dreams and then take a round off. In this case, that means they'll go out in the opening stages.
M8CKN
David Ginola in hospital in Monaco after a suspected heart attack. Hope all is ok.

garcon magnifique
And now reports suggest he's had a quadruple heart bypass. And some say he was playing golf and others say football. NewNiceMrMe
Football. He was playing a charity match. 5 live had an interview with the surgeon that saved him at 6pm tonight. One of the spectators, who wasn't even going to the match but was 'passing by', had been trained in heart massage and kept working on him for 15 minutes until the helicopter arrived. The surgeon said they saved his life. Edited May 20, 2016 by NewNiceMrMe
CarMad
I did my CPR training again yesterday I did the same last year but then I trained 24 people on what to do. As a nation we are dreadful and haven't got a clue on what to do, I urge everyone to do it if they can chance. /off topic.

billy2shots
The words all football fans didn't want to hear. LVG - 'It's over' Why couldn't you of just beaten West Ham Louis? It was in your hands.
NewNiceMrMe
Because he's appalling, that's why. I don't even know how we won the FA Cup - although Mark Clattenberg didn't do us any harm. But hey, a trophy is a trophy and it is more than Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool, etc. managed. Now I feel a bit more optimistic about next season. Your club will splash major amounts of money in pursuit of Messi and others but at least we can build from where we'll be under Mourinho. My worst fear was that the board settled for a CL spot and the FA Cup. Thank god they saw beyond that.
Torino101
You're comedy gold. The exact same trophy that for the past two years has been "worthless".
NewNiceMrMe
You're comedy gold. The exact same trophy that for the past two years has been "worthless". No, it is. But it is a trophy. That you don't have. I know the FA Cup makes you happy and I understand that, you're an Arsenal fan and it is a good achievement. It doesn't make me happy but it is a bit of silverware for the packed cabinet and the joy is that we won something, albeit meaningless. Leicester got the big one (the only one that matters). We got the better of the two domestic cups. City got the other. Arsenal and Spurs got nowt. Please don't think I'm satisifed, I'm not. We want the league title and to win the Champions League again (unlike you, I can say 'again'). That;s' the club United are. Basically, umm, not Arsenal. billy2shots
I like the FA Cup and although it's not what it used to be it's still the biggest domestic cup competition in world football 736 teams (I maybe slightly out, I hate googling answers) take part from start to finish. No other competition gets close. You could probably add the French, German, Italian and Spanish cup together and still not get those numbers. It reaches so many people and shakes up whole communities. I'm sure we all enjoyed Salford, Cambridge Exeter etc this year. It's not just numbers though, Cup final day is still special and if your team is in that final I dare you not to feel a buzz no matter how we all play it down. Wembley split in two, bar the prawn sandwich eaters, with two distinct colours of opposing fans. If I sat and thought about it I'm pretty sure I could recall the last 25 winners (I'm 34 so cut me some slack). I couldn't do that for league winners with as much certainty. Utd fans should be pleased today. Forget the disappointment of the last few seasons and treat this in isolation. Well done Man U. NewNiceMrMe
It is the ultimate consolation prize if the truth be known. If you've got so used to dominating and winning the league though - it isn't much consolation. Paul Scholes speaks a lot of sense. Fourth place and the FA Cup is what Arsenal do. City wouldn't be happy with it and nor are United. We all know that Leicester were by far the best side in the league this year and the rest of the clubs were crap. We were just even more crap. I think we were lucky to win it (not the final, I thought that even with the awful decisions we were still the better side and it was a stunning goal). Our best performance was against West Ham in the quarter final and the first half of the Everton semi-final. It masks a bitter taste to the season but the cherry is that he'll be gone this week. I feel a little better knowing that.
Calm Chris
Maureen already paid £4m as holding fee. Giggs going LVG's wife finds out about sacking while her husband is collecting a winners medal. Man Utd showing no class.
