billy2shots
Bloody hell. Is that the shortest reign ever? Apparently another 10 managers had similar meetings and the Telegraph are going to make them public in the coming days. Who else will fall on their sword?
NewNiceMrMe
Indeed, if we forget about Sam (which I think is for the best as there is no excuse whatsoever. I feel sad for his own foolishness being the cause of him losing the job he craved for so long, but there's no mitigating factors at all for his behaviour) I think the next few days and weeks will be very interesting. A high ranking official in a club taking money? That might be a Chief Executive. I hope it is Ed Woodward so we can get rid of him (but I very much doubt it). Then it sounds like an Assistant Manager has taken a £5k bung? He's out, whoever it is. The others sound like they may be guilty of much lesser infringements, otherwise The Telegraph would be shouting about that already. Anyone who has done anything needs to go. We can't been seen to condemn FIFA and then let people in the English game away with any breaches of the rules. If we're going to throw stones, we cannot do so from within a greenhouse! Booster
As an aside from the England manager debacle, Leicester have now won their first two Champions League games. The first English team ever to do so. We kept a clean sheet for both games as well. The atmosphere in the stadium was second only to the last home game of the season last year. Not one second of silence! If we could recreate CL form in the Premier League it would be great! They were a different team last night to the one that lost to Man U at the weekend. Ranieri clearly has his priorities set on one thing this season!
billy2shots
With the amount of games played at the pace they are it's very hard to go for multiple trophies. City certainly throw the FA Cup and League in an attempt at CL glory. Fell short to Real in the Semi losing 0-1 on aggregate. The season before last, avoiding relegation would be seen as success for Leicester. Last season, avoiding relegation would have been seen as a success (you happened to win the whole bloody thing ) This season, avoiding relegation will be a success. If Leicester come somewhere near the bottom of the league I don't see that as failure. They just over achieved so much last season. Enjoy being champions and Enjoy the CL, Leicester fully deserve it. NewNiceMrMe
Redknapp is way gone from football to have got the England job. Should have got it when Hodgson did? Yes, probably. However, we are where we are and Southgate should now be given the chance. After all, no bugger else wants it.

garcon magnifique
Apparently United are awaiting an assessment on Fellaini before choosing the team to face Citeh in the Entirely ****ing Ludicrous Cup. I can save them the bother. My assessment is he's shit.
NewNiceMrMe
I'm lost for words on that subject. Meanwhile, Mykitaryan, a 'budget' £28m signing, sits in the stands and can't even get into the squad. The word flabbergasted doesn't get said enough nowadays but is appropriate for this situation. Fellaini out, Mykitaryan in. Not rocket science, is it? I still have faith in Jose and it is very easy to forget he's 9 games into his tenure as manager, but I will admit that the Fellaini favouritism he seems to have is wearing very thin on me now. billy2shots
I keep laughing at the joke that keeps on giving. Paul Pogba. He was pretty shite at Utd originally and was only given game time to try and keep him. Moved to Italy and is totally different in that league. Seria A is a league where players stay in their zones but Pogba used his physical attributes to drive forward from his position and the league couldn't handle that type of player. PP comes back to Utd for an eye watering fee and is playing in a league that is physically much more challenging and looks shite again. Deschamps still doesn't seem convinced on him for France although he did bag a couple the other day. The way he left, came back and performs could go down as the most hilarious cock up in football history Fully expect him to be the match winner tomorrow night now I have said that. billy2shots
A definite win for Utd. Team news just announced and Utd will play a full strength team at home vs a very errr 'different ' City line up. I will be happy if we don't get battered... NewNiceMrMe
Oh come on, you don't need to get the excuses in "just in case". You know as well as I do that it is highly unlikely you'll get battered and any City team is a strong team nowadays.
billy2shots
Jamie Carra has just said that Utd losing to THIS City team would be more damaging then the Chelsea result. That sums it up for me. Utd can't lose.
NewNiceMrMe
He's a moron. Otamendi, Kompany, Clichy, Fernando, Sane, Navas, Iheanacho, Nolito all play. Ihenanacho is your best striker right now too. Sterling, Gundogan, Aguero, Kolarov, Fernandinho on the bench. Stop trying to convince yourself. billy2shots
Caballero - back up maffeo - youth player clichy - back up to kolorov kompany - second game in the last 7 years lol Otamendi - first team player Garcia - youth player Fernando - back up Nolito - First team player Navas - back up and a complete joke Sane - Promising player but far from first choice at the moment Kelechi - back up to Aguero Starting line up speaks for itself. Not one shot. Not even a punt on target! Pep now on his longest ever run without a victory. Doomed I tell you, doomed. Bye bye Citeh. Yep, hideous from both sides. Utd and their full strength team (bar at centreback) managed 2 shots on target against a very weak city starting eleven. City were crap. Utd were crap. Mike 'The Red' Deane was crap. At the end of the day both managers got what they wanted. Pep clearly wasn't taking the competition seriously and Jose most certainly was. Utd deserve to go through solely for that reason. NewNiceMrMe
Oh come on, you finished with as near a full strength team as you possibly could and still couldn't muster a shot on target! City held that trophy. Your only trophy of last season. Now, they're out and United are through. That is the end result and United completely dominated in the second half. Not brilliant, but not crap. Your young defender looks very good indeed though and I'll wager that you'll see him playing in a lot more first team games over the coming weeks. Mike Deane had a typical Mike Deane game. Both teams have cause for complaint but we both know where that'll get them - nowhere. Can City win the league on current form (because it should also be said that regardless of what you think about it being a second-string side, the first team isn't doing very well either right now)? Probably not. Can United? Certainly not. However, we'll keep plugging away and eventually he'll find the right team. The mystery of Mykhitaryan continues. Nobody seems to know what is happening or why. I do think it is looking increasingly likely that something has happened behind the scenes that Jose doesn't like though and he may well get sold in January. I hope not because he's a fantastic player.
