I think that's fair. Given the circumstances any positive that comes Manchester's way is a good thing.
NewNiceMrMe
*cough* +1 EFL Cup. +1 UEFA Europa League Cup. +1 Champions League qualification. Any Arsenal fans around?

NewNiceMrMe
I wouldn't be worried about missing out on the Champions League, Chris. I mean, it's not as if Arsenal have ever stood a chance of winning it anyway. Make do with winning another Europa League Cup. How many of those do you have already? It's a shame the Cup Winners Cup isn't around these days, you could have added one of those to your collection of, ummm, how many of those? But hey, perhaps another Premier League title as you've obviously won hoards of those in the last 14 years, yes? p.s. I shall be supporting Chelsea and hoping it is an absolute battering for Arsenal. Soulboy
I don't normally post on here as football is so subjective and dynamic. And dare I say....shallow! Today's hated devil is tomorrow's loved angel, when he comes over to your team.....and vice versa. No sooner have you posted something.....and it often comes back and kicks you up the ar5e I'll stick to posting kn less corrupt sports....like boxing
NewNiceMrMe
Football is football. You either get the spirit of football related jokes or, well, you don't.
Calm Chris
Did you manage to win your FF this year NNME? Was that due to gamesmanship, banter to the point of bullying, and you ending up in a FF league of one? How proud you must be of MUFC, a 2nd tier cup, a 3rd tier cup and 6th place in the PL. All that value from a spend of £528m in the last 5 years, now that really is special. £528m sowed, god knows how much in wages and you can't claim anything other than noddy cup results and qualification by a back door to the CL. Next season I will mainly be enjoying watching Man Utd do as well as Arsenal have, in the CL. If you get past the group stages it will be a worthy watch. Seeing you get battered by the top tier of European clubs has to be more fun than watching it happen to Arsenal.
NewNiceMrMe
Banter to the point of bullying? There are 18 players. Increased by 5 since a tosser left. I can't be bothered with another word.

I just can't see how they are going to fit him in with the impending arrivals of Neymar, Bale and Ronaldo. At leat that's what the papers have been telling us every day for the past 2 years. Lukaku is a decent player but not a world class one. World class transfer fee mind.
garcon magnifique
There still might be time for Woodward to fück this up and let Chelsea pinch him. That would be funny.

NewNiceMrMe
Citeh fans. Nothing to talk about at Citeh so they talk about United. As usual. Understandable though. I mean, who wants to hear of Citeh? When Pep won everything with Citeh last season, you didn't half rub it in a lot. Oh.
cruiser647
£196 m...... For Neymar, if it goes through. These people are nuts!
NewNiceMrMe
It is a huge sum of money but they'll make a bloody fortune from incoming sponsors, shirt sales and the rest. Commercially, Neymar will be a huge hit in a city like Paris. I happen to think he's more suited to the French league too. I can see it working well for him there. Don't be so stupid Garcon, United would only pay record breaking money for someone they let go in the past.
