garcon magnifique
Nope. One massive hint: this is based on the date the appointment was announced, rather than the date the manager took his position. Second question: Of 86 football league clubs that currently have a manager, how many of those managers have been in place for less than a year? NewNiceMrMe
Not Moyes? No way.

NewNiceMrMe
The 86 managers one is interesting. Hmm. I'll say, 60.
NewNiceMrMe
It can't be Sam, not a chance, he's something like third/fourth longest serving! Edited December 16, 2013 by NewNiceMrMe

NewNiceMrMe
Bruce is long serving too. His clue means Moyes, it has to. If it is, it is a shocking indictment on the Premier League. Edited December 16, 2013 by NewNiceMrMe
garcon magnifique
Yep. It's Moyes. As for the other question - it's not quite as bad as 60.

garcon magnifique
Suspiciously close. According to the LMA website (according to Radio Five) it's 44. Add to that six vacant positions and flip it around - of 92 football league clubs, only 42 managers have been in place longer than a year.
NewNiceMrMe
Yep. It's Moyes. As for the other question - it's not quite as bad as 60. Bizarre, just bizarre. I really do worry for the sport in this country.

garcon magnifique
P.S. I don't believe any of the bookies odds right now. As Gabby Marcotti just said, they have no imagination. Pochettino might be among those in the running for the Spurs job - in the summer. Along with a host of others. But not Capello. Leftfield name to throw in the ring for the West Brom job - Ralph Rangnick.
NewNiceMrMe
I think it'll be Capello. I can't see Laudrup leaving Swansea quite yet.
Luke
No way Capello, he's all wrong for Spurs. How many more managers is Levy going to choose. He maybe be a wealthy, deal making business guy but his reputation with managers is a laughing stock.
NewNiceMrMe
I'm not sure Rangnick would want to give up Champions League football for the delights of West Bromwich. Plus, I think the WBA Chairman is deluded enough to think he could tempt SFA out of retirement. p.s. oh hang on, Rangnick left Schalke didn't he? Hmm. NewNiceMrMe
Okay, having just read that Rangnick left Schalke stating he didn't have the energy to develop the club and meet their ambitions - I think he's got as much chance of being appointed by the Jeremy "We should win the League" Wotshisname as I have. garcon magnifique
If Levy chooses Capello, for all that he's lauded as a hard nosed businessman and so on, I think he's an idiot. The King's ransom has been spent (some would say wasted). Without another one to spend, Capello would just serve up more turgid, trophyless football. The only factor linking Capello to the job is Baldini. According to Marcotti, they're not particularly close any more. And although Capello wouldn't turn down another club job, he won't leave Russia before the World Cup. Can you imagine Abramovich's reaction if Capello left Russia ... for Spurs? [Heavy Russian accent and cat stroking] Ah, Mister Capello. So nice to meet you again. Did you enjoy your polonium pasta?
