M8CKN
Oh god, you really are something. Of course it's behind the FA Cup, League and Champions League. But, we're already in the next stage of the Champions League. Our winning group position got us a decent draw too. Now we're in the semi-finals of a domestic cup competition. Just when are you going to stop the constant tirade against United? I know you think you're a supporter/fan, but can't you see by now that it is all getting completely transparent? When we get beat, you hate Moyes. When we win, you hate Moyes. I'm not even sure it is a Moyes issue with you now. I think I know what it is, and it is seldom I say this.... You're a glory supporter. Through and through. I'm not even sure I believe your claims about the length of time you've been an avid fan now. The reason is simple - I don't know another single United fan, and I know a lot, who have your stance. You are unique. I've never met anyone so delighted when we lose and to be actively willing failure. I think you should just go and support a club worthy of your type of support. There's one in West Yorkshire I can think of. They play in white (a grubby white) and I am inclined to think you're actually one of them masquerading as a Manchester United fan. Yes, that's what it is, isn't it? You're one of THEM. That's a bit harsh Chris, whatever your views please don't stoop to calling him a Leeds fan...nobody deserves that.. The club that shall not be named comment is due. You don't have to win something to enjoy footballl, let's not forget that. Ask any Newcastle fan. Twinspark
Does anyone really give a toss about the League Cup? I mean, really? - Obviously, the mid-table teams and those who haven't won a proper trophy for years have a pop at it, but mostly the big teams can't be arsed and send out teams of reserves / youngsters. I really can't get excited about it. Jumping up and down about a league cup semi-final is all a bit desperate. Managed to watch the game down the pub last night, pleased with the result, but it's just a league cup game.
Luke
I'd be happy with an egg cup.
NewNiceMrMe
TwinSpark, enough of this talk of Manchester United. I see your mob have edged Forest out of a play-off place. I do hope you fail miserably in your efforts to get back into the Premier League. Yours ever-so-nicely. cruiser647
And so the Prem League managers' game of musical chairs is about to have another round. Some chairmen just don't know when they are onto a good thing. Surely if the fans aren't beying for the managers head, then he can stay? The Cardiff fans like the manager - it's the chairman they hate!

Luke
Their manager has done amazing things with that club. The fans have had to suffer a new badge, new colour strip etc etc. but without the backing they'd be nowhere near the Prem'. NewNiceMrMe
Next West Brom manager in all likelihood. They're interested in Solskjaer too but I suspect they'll wait to get Mackay now.

billy2shots
Luis Suarez £200k a week 4 1/2 year contract signed with Liverpool. That's a statement of intent if you ask me.
m4ttm4son
Or it will definitely include a buy out clause now. Probably somewhere foreign.
Twinspark
Or, a guaranteed massive transfer fee!
billy2shots
Yep that's my point. An intent to get the best price for him in the summer. Give us one more season and sign a long contract with massive buy out clause and we will let you go next summer (2014).

They know fine well Real Madrid are preparing a bid and that Arsenal will come back for him again. They're just trying to tie the contract up in such a way that they get £60m in my opinion - and I think Madrid will pay that. I think he could go in January. billy2shots
I have no doubt he will go. Not in January though. IMHO it has all been agreed for the end of the season. He has shown full commitment so far so they have given him a fresh contract to bump up the sale price. By giving him £200k it also means his new club will offer him more so win win for him and Liverpool. £60m will not be enough, again imho. Of course if clubs are canny they just won't bid a huge amount and Suarez will still want to move and Liverpool will have to let him or risk a massive problem. Waylander
£60m is the sweet spot i think too. the £200k wages pretty much rules Arsenal and possibly even Chelsea out which I suspect was the plan. Rumours of £100m release clause. Edited December 21, 2013 by Waylander
