Waylander
We are getting tanked right now, although Eto should have been off in the first min!
Milo
Rubbish game- then I guess the 3 points give comfort Some shocking decisions, none more so than the ignoring of a blatant foul before giving a free kick to arsenal for someone losing their balance, which led to the goal. Hey ho, we deserved a point but these things happen. Last season, we would have showed even less attacking and had 5 put past us.

Calm Chris
I thought Newcastle looked stronger, bigger and controlled the mid field most of the match. The were lack lustre, no creativity and generally shite. As for the ref, there were some poor decisions. Tioto really should have seen a card for totting up foul after foul, and that was in the first 20 minutes..
Waylander
As to shocking decisions the blatant penalty not awarded against Eto (him of raking his studs down Henderson fame) with Webb looking directly at it was just plain ridiculous. Don't usually bleat on about referees but we have been screwed over in 2 games running by poor decisions and those 2 decisions not awarded against Eto were criminal
Torino101
As somebody pointed out on the BBC website - has anyone ever been top at Christmas and then out of the top four by new years??!! (Liverpool)
NewNiceMrMe
United now within 2 points of 'title contenders' Liverpool. Arsenal will be off the top within 2 weeks and City will replace them. United will move into the top 4, and I won't be surprised to see us in 3rd place before long. Twinspark
Gah! Every time I see a glimmer of something from Moyes, he goes and fecks things up again. This is a must win game... let's see if he can inspire them at half time.
billy2shots
Wellbeck, another dive. Something has to be done about this current UTD team it's embarrassing. Moyes is spineless as he hated this behaviour whilst at Everton and would constantly speak out against other teams players. Has he done a U-turn and is it now acceptable as long as he gets results? Edit A few minutes later Januzaj booked for diving. Yawn..... Edited January 1, 2014 by billy2shots

Twinspark
Completely out of patience with Moyes now. That's as many lost as won at home. Completely unacceptable. And this is the team that were taken apart by both City and Liverpool in recent weeks.
Luke
Moyes only bought Young on to get a pen.
billy2shots
What shocked me was Utd fans thinking they were on a charge. Winning by one goal against the likes of West Ham, Hull and Norwich was not much of a sign.

Twinspark
That was a must win game. A proper 6 pointer. And he blew it. If I were the board, I'd be making a change this week, as it's obvious he's not going to fix things - I certainly don't see any money being spent on someone who has completely destroyed a title winning team. NewNiceMrMe
Garbage. Welbeck's "dive" as Billy wishes to dream it up was not a dive. It was a penalty and there are plenty of neutrals that think it too (the BBC Sport site, 5 Live, to name just two). That would have changed the result entirely. Robbed. Luke
Touching someone's sock doesn't make you fall over like you been hit by machine gun fire. And Januzaj? Still they're still learning from the master that is Ashley, double pike with tuck Young!
billy2shots
MrMe I respect lots of your opinions but please don't stand by your Wellbeck quote. Did you or have you seem it with your own eyes? Even his mother would blush. Any pundit he says it wasn't a dive should be sacked on the spot. If you haven't seen it, watch motd2 tonight, it wasn't even a close call, if it was Howard Red would have given it.
Luke
He should have booked him. Still it took 3 mins for him to hit the ground after he dived so it did us a favour.
NewNiceMrMe
I've seen it now and I complete agree with the BBC site and 5 Live. Penalty. And so was the foul on Young by Lloris. Go read the BBC site, listen to the 5 Live commentary, and there is no way you can watch it and deny there was contact on Welbeck and Lloris took Young out. Sorry, think whatever you want - we were robbed by a shocking refereeing performance today. Your constant droning on about our diving is just something you're doing to make yourself believe, in true City style, that it is actually happening. Januzaj I agree with, I've said that to you before, so why would I just disagree for the sake of it? You're imagining most of it because 20 titles is 19 more than 1. You were awarded 3 points by a referee today. Nothing for your team to be proud of whatsoever. Edited January 1, 2014 by NewNiceMrMe
billy2shots
Listening to the radio now and laughing at all the Utd fans bursting a blood vessel lol. Don't need to read anything MrMe I watched it live plus the several slow motion replays. It was a dive nothing more, nothing less. I hope the FA gives up their pursuit on Janudive as we don't need players like him. Roy Keane and Ferguson started the abuse of officials which is rife everywhere now, Utd seem hell bent on making diving acceptable. NewNiceMrMe
I've seen it 10-12 times now and can only agree with the fury of Moyes. That was an appalling refereeing decision, as was that of the Young/Lloris incident. Two penalties. Stonewall. Enough said. Twinspark, you just baffle me more by the day. Exactly what had Moyes done wrong at half time? What would you have done differently? Paid Webb more than Spurs were clearly paying him? An FA review of that refereeing performance is needed. I would back Moyes 100% in his anger at what happened today.
