Luke
MOTD is produced in Manchester now! Your eyes must be bad, Wellbeck touching the keeper? He looked like a defender to me. As for Young, what ref in their right mind would give a pen for him now. He's dived so much he's like the boy who cried Wolf. A victim of his own cheating. I like playing Utd in the Prem. Last four games, win, draw, win, win. 10 out of 12 points.

Luke
It's all great footy banter. We all know that Spurs deserved that win yesterday. We could have had 4 goals easily so if they got a pen it wouldn't have mattered anyway. Nice to see Sherwood has brought back some enjoyment to the players. NewNiceMrMe
Absolute fantasy talk. We were denied a 3-2 win by a clearly bribed referee and when 2 scousers say they were penalties and that Januzaj didn't dive and should have had a free-kick, to deny that starts to get a bit silly. I'm sure the Spurs players are loving it. It must be great to know you'll get away with murder on the pitch and never have a decision go against you. Milo
Were Man U playing yesterday? I missed it. What was the score, any notable highlights?
Milo
Some shocking decisions, none more so than the ignoring of a blatant foul before giving a free kick to arsenal for someone losing their balance, which led to the goal. Hey ho, we deserved a point but these things happen. Last season, we would have showed even less attacking and had 5 put past us. You see, this is the difference between football fans, and supporters of Man U. I wrote that after watching Newcastle lose to Arsenal. 2 bad decisions in 30 seconds that cost us the match. These things happen, you just have to accept it and move on. I appreciate supporters of Man U are finding the whole 'decisions not going our way' thing a bit hard to accept, being as it's a new concept to them. However with time, they'll learn that sometimes even bribes don't work, not even for a top 8 side like Man U.
billy2shots
I should clarify that when the dive I was referring to was not the Wellbeck, lloris, Dawson clash early in the game. It was later in the match when Wellbeck was trying to win a free kick about 45yds from goal. The message is clear, if Utd players want penalties and free kicks then they need to stop cheating. Someone should tell them the story of the boy who cried wolf.
m4ttm4son
Regarding the Lloris incident - isn't it widely known that as soon as someone shoots, they are available for a free hit? I don't agree with it, but it's pretty standard. The other two were definitely dives. "Contact" does not mean penalty. billy2shots
http://metro.co.uk/2014/01/01/manchester-uniteds-danny-welbeck-pips-oscar-to-dive-of-the-day-against-spurs-4246781/ This is not the one I meant and was earlier in the game. I must have been in the loo when this happened as I don't remember this one. There are so many.

Torino101
It is already now mathematically impossible for Man U to even reach the same points tally of last season even if they won every remaining game - unbelievable. From the remaining 18 games if they picked up the maximum 54 points they would STILL be 1 point short of last year’s 89 points. If they continue at their current average of 1.7 points per game they will finish on 64 points the same as guess who last season........ Everton. Luke
Big FA Cup games, today. Arsenal v Spurs is a cracker and on ITV for all the tight boys who don't have Sky. Might be a bit of banter on here after the game.

billy2shots
Who are Arsenal going to play up top. Podolski or Theo I guess. I fancy Spurs to take the win today, Arsenal may not take this game as seriously given their league position.

Calm Chris
Big FA Cup games, today. Arsenal v Spurs is a cracker and on ITV for all the tight boys who don't have Sky. Might be a bit of banter on here after the game. or before..I'm sort of wobbly regarding the match. I foresee further problems due to Adebayor and his current mission to prove AVB wrong for the lack of selection. Spurs run in peaks and troughs (even more so than Arsenal) and it seems you're in peak mode at the moment, and that win last weekend will encourage self believe.
