The only reason WBA can be 'outstanding' at Old Trafford is because the United team let them be outstanding.

We now have a very big problem on our hands - he seems unable to motivate the players, his selections are getting the backs up of the supporters and the results are worse than in any season since 1989.

His tenure will end in disaster - and I really struggle to see who would come to bail us out now, when the inevitable happens.

TwinSpark, you really could make a crisis out of a drama!! You want to support Spurs for 41 years and see what it's like. Get a life.

We now have the following fixtures (League):

H - WBA

A - Sunderland

H - Southampton

H - Stoke

A - Fulham

H - Arsenal

A - Cardiff

A - Spurs

H - Everton

H - Newcastle

I think we'll be in the top 3 after those and fully expect no more than 3-4 dropped points. I think there are 9 wins out off 10 there.

Not so sure on the points dropped, Chris.

"very big problem on our hands" - Nonsense

"unable to motivate the players" - To play for millions?

"is selections are getting the backs up of the supporters" - He's the manager

"results are worse than in any season since 1989" - tell me how long Ferguson had been in charge for then?

"His tenure will end in disaster" - Why am I not surprised you think that?

I'm leaving it at that.  It isn't worth trying to have a proper football conversation with you.  You're a fan of success with unrealistic expectations who the club doesn't need.  As I said, go be a fan of Chelsea.  Be a fan of anyone but United.  Please.

As a fan of a team who spent 2 years in the premiership, then were relegated 3 times in 7 seasons I know the highs and lows of being a football fan. The difference with Utd is they have the players, money, support and tallent to get past this very minor blip in their form...we were nowhere near good enough to be up there. I cant imagine the pressure and expectation that is heaped on Moyes by the fans and board. I dont think it will end well with Moyes, but I believe it would more likely to be him walking than being sacked, siting "doing what is best for the club" as his reasons as he doesnt want to be the one to ruin the work done in the last 25 years. I dont think relegation will be an issue.

As a total Premiership neutral, I think this will be the most open and interesting season for a very long time...and My Mrs is happy due to Sunderlands position

The same thing happening to Man U is basically the same thing that Liverpool suffered from once Bob Paisley died. A succession of managers could not recreate the 'glory days' of yore. When one finally appeared and gave them the Euro cup, they still got rid of him!

Move on, give time and if anything, the board should see that time is what is needed. Moyes has a lot of work to do to bring 'his style' of play to the Utd team that all bar one, has the SAF way ingrained.

It'll probably settle down to the usual suspects, but I agree it'd be great if it stayed this open. Maybe it's the influence of this year's new tv deal - teams have been spending the extra money they're going to get this season and it means there are genuine class players all the way down the league. If the top four were complacent, I'm sure they're beginning to wake up now.

Watched Real Madrid derby game against Athletico last night and Madris were played off the pitch. Bale was a sub but came on at half time. Ronaldo and Bale they had no influence on the game at all. The money we got for him was unbeliavebale really.
