garcon magnifique
It's been a long time coming, but you could say the club have got their just desserts.
NewNiceMrMe
I've just looked him up. David Evans MP. He went on (I didn't know this) to demonstrate his political correctness by telling The Times he was racist and then demeaning a 42 year female opponent by saying: "How would you feel if your daughter was raped by some black bastard?" Such a nice chap eh? He kept his seat too. For a long time - until 1997!

Twinspark
Mind you, Houllier and Keegan won it on multiple occasions, so I think they must sometimes give it out as a consolation prize.
Waylander
winning it is usually followed by a losing run. In this case I look forward to seeing him WIN a run....
garcon magnifique
Making a point of that does kind of support my theory that some football 'fans' can't even fúcking remember last month.
NewNiceMrMe
Yup. The 3 defeats in a row started in January. I knew it'd be mentioned though. It's par for the course from a fan of the club that shall not be named.
Luke
I think Moyes will get the record today. Good luck to him, I hope he gets it.

It's par for the course from a fan of the club that shall not be named. Are you forgetting he started the month with an away draw at Spurs, followed by 2 pathetic home defeats? Is that how poor the EPL is now, that 2 home defeats can still bag you 'Manager of the Month'?

Milo
Are you forgetting he started the month with an away draw at Spurs, followed by 2 pathetic home defeats? You were beaten by better teams, not pathetic defeats; it's not in the rules that you win every game. Sometimes you just have to accept that your team is not up to scratch and they'll be beaten. It doesn't make them pathetic, it just shows they're not as good a people like to think.
NewNiceMrMe
I didn't know that the club that shall not be named had such disloyal fans. They'll not get promotion to the Premier League this year anyway.

Milo
35% of the possession. No corners. One shot on target. At home. Against Swansea I can see Sunderland putting 4 past Man U in the 2nd leg Edited January 11, 2014 by Milo
