Luke
To be fair, they all looked knackered and very nervous. Terrible penalties though.

NewNiceMrMe
Juan Mata. We'll be back. Enjoy this period whilst you can.
Calm Chris
I wonder if there is a clause that Mata can't play against Chelsea? Always seems odd when a rival club sells a player, more so mid season.
Torino101
Mata is undeniably a very good player, but 37 Million?! Football had gone bonkers. Also isn't it more your defence and fit strikers that you're missing??
garcon magnifique
I wonder if there is a clause that Mata can't play against Chelsea? Always seems odd when a rival club sells a player, more so mid season. Maureen knows what he's doing. Chelsea and United have already played twice. Mata may just help United extract a few points from Chelsea's rivals. As for beyond this season, I'm sure Maureen backs himself to build a better team. If United could have waited until the summer then maybe a more reasonable 30 million would have been possible. But they need him now, so the price is inflated. To me, 37 million for Mata is a bargain compared to 27 for Fellaini...
NewNiceMrMe
Mata is undeniably a very good player, but 37 Million?! Football had gone bonkers. Also isn't it more your defence and fit strikers that you're missing?? Players get injured and it is unfortunate our two first choice strikers have been out for such a length of time. However, they're on the verge of coming back and service to them is imperative. Mata will provide that. By far our most critical requirement was in midfield. The defensive issues will be addressed, I'm sure of that. You can't go out and buy every player you need in January. Milo
The only problem is, Moyes will probably have him playing in goal.
m4ttm4son
£37m is correct a correct fee for Mata. Can't believe Moaninho would sell him to that lot though. Madness. Some justification for the rest of this season, but beyond that, a crazy move to help strengthen ManU. The only positive for the Chavs is if they've got first refusal on Rooney. That's the only way it makes sense IMO. Full disclosure: I'm still slightly bitter Chelsea nabbed him when we were trying to get him.

cruiser647
Why is Wilfred going to Cardiff? Surely he is a better bet to get goals than Wellbeck & co? Maureen has played a blinder - play'em twice, sell them a great player. Here's hoping he's lost in the middle of mediocrity . However, CalmChri5 and I know full well, that come the return Arsenal game, your boys will have Mata, Rooney & RvP fit and rearing to go.
