Scotty
There is an argument therefore that West Ham, with their resources, should aim for 38 0-0 draws and potential Premier League survival? You'd only have that thought if you had the mindset to play the same tactics every game. You wouldn't last long. Sam chose the perfect tactics for that game. WHU were not gonna go to Chelsea and take 3 points. He therefore went for 1 and got it. Perfect plan against Chelsea. Carroll had his first start full game in 6 months or so. He's rusty but it's hard to forgive that miss. Edited January 30, 2014 by Scotty
NewNiceMrMe
Carroll is crap. He's the reason you're in the position you are - not Allardyce (apart from him signing him, of course....).
Scotty
Bit harsh blaming someone who's not played all season. Yes it took a load of their money to have him not play until now but there's been so many injuries it's been unreal. He does need to prove that he's been worth waiting for and he needs to do it quick. That pressure won't help. garcon magnifique
Does anyone actually believe Carroll has been injured, as opposed to rehab?

NewNiceMrMe
Sherwood is getting sacked soon anyway. He was only ever an interim manager from a tight-fisted Chairman who lost a fortune on his last 'gamble'.

NewNiceMrMe
TwinSpark.won't be happy Leeds United have sacked Brian McDermott. When it rains, it.pours:-) Yes, it is time to once again laugh at the team that should not be named. Another decision of utter lunacy. It's brilliant. NewNiceMrMe
They're currently barricading the gates to stop the 'new' owner leaving the ground. That'll be the new owner that has twice been convicted of fraud in his home country of Italy. I do hope he gets full control and wrecks the fecking place. Quickly. p.s. and McDermott was sacked for disobeying orders. He was asked to allow Gianluca Festa (he of ex-Boro fame) to sit next to him on the bench for the Huddersfield match as an 'observer' (basically he'd be his replacement). He told them to feck off. So they fired him. I'm delighted McDermott has gone though. Despite their recent brilliant run of losses he was starting to settle things a bit too much for my liking, so they can now go into freefall and he can go get a proper job. Torino101
Reports are that Arsenals new loan Midfielder Kim Kallstrom, taken on purely because of the midfield injury list, is after his first training session out for 2 months.

Apparently it isn't true. That's what DHA is saying. Reckons it is complete fiction (like MU winning again)

NewNiceMrMe
...and McDermott hasn't been sacked, apparently. The 'club' claim they never sacked him. The LMA say McDermott was sacked. McDermott says McDermott was sacked. This is going to be fun. Team that shall not be named say they didn't say the bloke who says they sacked him, despite the LMA saying he was sacked and everyone else saying he was sacked too. garcon magnifique
Come on, the farce at Leeds is faaaaaaaar funnier than United losing at Stoke. So he's either sacked or he isn't. Taxi for McDermott? I wonder if Beaker knows? Oh, and if we're going to talk about losing at Stoke, at least United don't moan about them being "too physical"... NewNiceMrMe
Yes, I still think we'll get 3rd or 4th. If there is ever a freakier game, goal or result, it'll be a long time coming.

NewNiceMrMe
That wasn't clever of Flores but there'll be no repercussions and that's where the game is all wrong. He should serve a 3-4 match ban for simulation.
