Calm Chris
Did you Big Sam laughing at Flores? Quality moment. It was funny. So the scum bag gets a light brush of a bicep across his forehead and goes down like Ulma Thurman has pulled his last eye out (Here's a link just in case you want reminding - bit violent warning) Isn't the forehead of any footballer hard as nails due to heading? The FA need to feck him up and rescind Andy Carroll's ban (which is YET another Webb ref error) Edited February 2, 2014 by Calm Chris

Calm Chris
Guess who is top of the league (again). Guess who said "Arsenal will fail at Xmas and slid down the league" and whose prediction was wrong (again).

Calm Chris
I consider 16 straight years at qualify for the CL a prize. One I would suggest you will struggle to get in to 2014/5. Anyway how's the return of RVP and the arrival of that new boy doing for the results?

Anyway how's the return of RVP and the arrival of that new boy doing for the results? How many of those CL campaigns have you won? Oh and only one final made? At least we can point to 4 finals and 2 wins (and the 2 defeats to probably the best team ever to play the game). If you watched the Stoke game and the reports you'd know the very least we deserved was a point. Freakish goal and freak conditions. Mata is doing well and the results will come. You know my views on the transitional nature of the year, and at least we bought a fit player and not a crocked one who your manager is now saying he'd not have bought if he'd known.... m4ttm4son
We've had eight transitional years and they'll all be better than your first There's no way you'll overtake Chelsea for third place. You'll be lucky to get a Europa League spot. All the crowing about Arsenal's lack of silverware just means that when the shoe's on the other foot, we'll all know how much it hurts your lot more than it has ever hurt us

Can you guess what it is? It starts with "but you'll still not have won anything" and ends with "as usual". There's a big difference between 7-8 years and 1 year. We'll be back. We always are and always will be.
Torino101
Thing is MrMe, is I totally agree with your predictions at least for the top three in that it'll end City, Chelsea, Arsenal. Of course I'd love us to win the title, but realistically I know it is a very outside chance. BUT what gets me is your level of vitriol towards Arsenal, at no point have you actually stepped back and said: "You know what I was wrong, Arsenal have been a shed load better than I expected and well done to them." You just crow about silverware. In the same vein, you stubbornly continue with unlucky Man U here and dodgy ref there. Just accept and admit that they have been shit so far this season - shitter than even you were expecting even with the change of manager.
Calm Chris
It's not vitriol, it's banter, and from a Geordie Manc supporter. And you need to understand the psychic of the lost. As a team that were maybe rated in world top five to slip down to zero trophy chances for this season and maybe a ranking outside the top 30 must hurt. Arsenal may not have achieved in terms of trophy, but at least we hold a level of consistency. Top 4 for the last 16 years isn't bad and let's also use the true excuses of Arsenals failures * new stadium * debt under £100m * profits every year and increasing * refusal to pander to foreign ownership funding * belief that FFP is valid As a business model in fiscal terms Arsenal are maybe the best controlled club in the world. The problem is that fiscal control does not bring in players that demand £250k a week. It's annoying, more so since the TV rights moneys have surged and such monies makes those wage levels manageable. One day (Rodney) we will win every thing and be undefeated for a decade

Just accept and admit that they have been shit so far this season - shitter than even you were expecting even with the change of manager. You're very mistaken. You are mistaking impartial comment for vitriol. Arsenal won't win the league and I am simply astonished that any supporter thinks they will. Feel free to launch into United. You know they'll be back. They have been unlucky but you create much of your own luck in this game. I maintain my view on the refereeing decisions that impacted our results until the last few games (can't blame the refs for the Stoke result, that was just down to a freak goal). Even Moyes admits we need to take our chances. However, only a fool would ignore the fact RVP has been out for half our games and Rooney for 6 of them. Injuries happen, but they have hit us very hard indeed. Yes I harp on about the silverware. Wouldn't you just love to be able to?
