NewNiceMrMe
The spread of scoring is vital, as is evidenced if you look back over United history and the years of the Doubles and the Treble. The issue you have is that when you're getting beat 6-1, 5-1 or 65-1 and 80-0 or whatever it is you do, it tends to suggest your squad isn't going to win the league. I've stored your "we can put out a C team mid-week" quote away for later use. Edited February 10, 2014 by NewNiceMrMe
Calm Chris
If the tube strike is a go, the football might not be..
NewNiceMrMe
The football will not be called off because of the tube strike. Arsenal has already warned fans not to rely on using the underground. The game will go ahead regardless, and so it should.
m4ttm4son
Plenty of stats to show Ozil is doing fine. He's not your typical number 10, involved in everything, yet his numbers are good for a first season. First 5 months Özil: 4 goals 8 assists First season Coutinho: 3 goals 5 assists Silva: 4 goals 7 assists Mata: 6 goals 13 assists He's not in good form right now, but he'll be better, don't worry He's missing a Walcott style player to play nice through balls to. We don't have any strikers like that ATM. Not heard anything about being upset about not getting a striker. He's only been here five minutes - can't start demanding anything. S3Bangs
You an Arsenal fan, S3Bangs? Wash your mouth out. I thought you knew. Liverpool for me. Though I could've been a Man U supporter. Born and bred in Old Traffiord till I was about ten but my first ever game I was taken to as a kid was a Liverpool match. Stuck with them since for my sins

Scotty
Gutted not to be at West Ham tonight for the 2nd goal to go in. The place must have gone mental!!!! From one above bottom of the league to 10th in a couple of weeks!! Anyone one from 10th down could still be relegated as it's so tight on the points but fingers crossed with the injuries going, the new found confidence and just one more game without Carroll, WHU should be fighting to stay mid/top half. Calm Chris
Champions v contenders got more interesting with Chelsea dropping 2 points tonight. If there had been a tube strike, I'd have had 4 tickets for the game, feck Boris and the Unions.

m4ttm4son
So much at stake in this evening's game for both sides. I think Arsenal have got more to gain from a win, though. It'll probably be a tight game and end in a score draw, but I've got my fingers crossed for 8-
Torino101
Bricking myself for tonight. Arsenal are the better team at the moment, but they haven't had a good record recently under pressure of big matches.
Luke
Spurs won't win at Newcastle, that's for sure.
Milo
The only winners at St James' Park tonight will be the hot drink vendors. It's been sleeting all afternoon and blowing a hoolie. The air temperature hasn't got above 3°C all day and the windchill feels like -20°C. I foresee a crap match, ending in a draw.
