Bricking myself for tonight. Arsenal are the better team at the moment, but they haven't had a good record recently under pressure of big matches.

The good record had nothing to do with pressure, it was because we were shite. Stop making daft excuses for the Liverpool result.

And paper doesn't count for anything, Man Utd are 2nd only to Luke's team in the dislike stakes. Add in the RVP factor and it becomes mega.

A nice Arsenal win will help with the confidence levels for the FA and CL games that come next. A defeat might be the second part of a four game capitulation, and we don't want that.

Ah. :roflmao:

Well I have signed back up to BT Vision for this.  Now I wished I'd not bothered.

Dreary O'Leary and Woeful Hargreaves talking to Fake Humphries.  They redefine 'shit' where conversation is concerned on football.  Humphries is appalling on football.  Utterly clueless and lacking in any sense of credibility whatsoever.  The sooner they sack him, the better.  The other two are devoid of personality and one of them should be sent to the Tower and executed for once working with the scum of society anyway.

Mind you, Moyes hasn't started my evening off with optimism by selecting Cleverley and leaving Januzaj on the bench.

Oh well.  Early night for me I guess.

I suspect he thinks he needed more grit in midfield.  However, the easiest way to defend against a strong midfield, in my humble opinion, tends to be to attack it.

Arsenal would struggle with Januzaj running at them and I think he should start.

Maybe he feels he can tire them first, but that won't be much use if we're 3-0 down by the time he comes on.

Cleverley isn't the answer though.  He's had his chance and he should be sold.

Woodward made some interesting comments on the release of the accounts.  It sounds like United are going to spend even more than many expected in the summer.  They seem to be saying they'll have a complete clear out and one analyst reckons that the £120m to spend is way out - he thinks they're going to spend £200m.  Oh and it was also made very clear Moyes is staying.
