NewNiceMrMe
It was very bad indeed. I watched the game, albeit on mute because I cannot abide BT Vision (having cancelled then resubscribed and now wanting to cancel again!) and just presumed it was a goal. I glanced away a little and then thought "Why aren't they celebrating?"
Daz
What does he think he can do? Win the league? Qualify for the Champions or Europe League? As i said we're now concentrating on making sure we finish above MU in the league

Tipex
It was very bad indeed. I watched the game, albeit on mute because I cannot abide BT Vision I tend to use 5 Live for the commentary if available, it can be a pain getting it synced right though, it's way out listening on AM, Digital is ok, through another TV or a DAB radio, but the delay listening over the net via the BBC mobile radio app seems best. Milo
At last Newcastle stop the rot, no 5th straight defeat for us this weekend.
Waylander
Howard Webb is an utter disgrace. Stone wall penalty right in front of him and he decides not to give it.

Not seen it but am I correct in my assumption that the penalty would have be in favour of Liverpool?:-)

Calm Chris
Howard Webb is an utter disgrace. Stone wall penalty right in front of him and he decides not to give it. Ha, ha, ha. It's only a game (And it was a penalty, and why wasn't Gerrard red carded). Funny old game.
S3Bangs
Feckin lucky barstewards. That hurt though. Luckier team won today

NewNiceMrMe
Blatant penalty to Liverpool denied. Gerrard should have been off later though. However, there is no doubt Webb dropped a howler and it should have finished a draw.
Waylander
Agreed. We have lost 7 in a row with Webb refereeing now. He isn't biassed now he has no team affiliation - he's just sh*t. Cracking game - pity we missed so many chances. I Missed the last 5 mins with guests over so was hoping to come back to a 2-2. Oh well.

Torino101
I know we won, but still, these days Howard Webb has become a total liability as opposed to his past day job as Man U's rent boy.
NewNiceMrMe
Liverpool out, Arsenal still going to finish trophyless, and both still referring to the past glories of United. Oh joy.
Waylander
My heart bleeds for you. Unlike you though I am not pinning the result on him Sturridge alone missed 3 great chances so we can only blame ourselves

m4ttm4son
you were as terrible in front of goal today as you were brilliant last week. Maybe it evens out? Is it two legs in the semi-finals?

Calm Chris
I know we won, but still, these days Howard Webb has become a total liability as opposed to his past day job as Man U's rent boy. Did you see Webbs reaction when Sterling touched his chest? Isn't touching a ref an auto red?
NewNiceMrMe
Not a guaranteed red, or even a yellow. It is all down to the ref's interpretation of it. With it beign Raheem Sterling it was probably deemed as a non-threatening manner....what with him being such a girl.
