garcon magnifique
I think I've just heard an explosion somewhere to the north east. And it wasn't one of Eldavo's trumps.

Calm Chris
It doesn't matter there be out next round. Van Persie just got himself CL football somewhere else next season.
NewNiceMrMe
It doesn't matter there be out next round. Van Persie just got himself CL football somewhere else next season. Another season of going further than Arsenal in the Champions League. Another season of going further than City in the Champions League. You'll end up trophyless, and you know it. I'm not getting carried away. We need Dortmund or Chelsea in the next round to stand any chance of a semi-final. I'd fancy our chances against Dortmund, not so much against Chelsea. However, both would be better than Athletic Madrid, PSG, Real, Barca or Bayern. The fact is though - we're there. Arsenal and City aren't.
NewNiceMrMe
p.s. Giggs and Scholes - one still here, one gone, but we'll never see another two players like them. World class players, truly world class.
NewNiceMrMe
3-1 Utd out on away goals. You forget this is United, not Arsenal. It must be awful being the team that never does anything of note.

Luke
Moyes very dignified after the game. Didn't have a dig at the press.
NewNiceMrMe
They deserve it and you know it. They've made up a story every day. Forget United, this is why so many managers lose their jobs. The stories that get manufactured are staggering. United won't bite at them and he'll keep his job regardless of what the press say, but I do feel for any manager that becomes a target. He has taken the biggest job in English football and they're bound to target him (and yes results haven't helped), but it is never nice to see - no matter who it is. Luke
I think he showed a lot of class. They've been after him for a while and he could have had payback last night. I know one game isn't a season changer but he could have let the press have it. He spoke very well after the game.

Luke
Well we nearly beat a team that hasn't lost at home since 2012! Still, I won't bleat about the ref, the pens, pitch etc. Got a feeling that West Ham won't lose Saturday.

Luke
Listen to cocky. All of a sudden you're all a bit chipper. One game and Utd rule the world of football again. Tbh, most people are glad Moyes didn't get the push after last night. That means he'll stay on.
