4-up????

Of course... Assuming that there are three other people stupid enough, sorry, I mean brave enough...no, hang on, um interested enough in old Audis to join me

And those leather seats are quite shiny and, it not being a 'Sport' model, flat, so at least one passenger is essential. I'd be concerned that with just a driver on board I'd end up in the passenger seat at every right hand bend +++

Damn, missed this! I'm guessing that a 1996 Audi qualifies, so if anyone drops out (and of course you want to see how many of the 300 odd bhp the A8 had when it was delivered remain...) then let me know

If it's an A8 then it (just) qualifies. I'm abroad at the mo but if you're serious about coming then please email [email protected] with your name, car make and model, and I'll see if we can squeeze you in. It should be much fun +++

Everyone ready for this? Spectators are most welcome. Participants must wear long sleeves, have long trousers and wear a helmet, please. If you miss sign-on you might not get on track. We've been approached by a large specialist insurance company who are now sponsoring the event and that means there are goody bags and possibly a half-decent prize for "the most MotorPunk car" on the day :)

I have failed the Merscabies. Due to little more than my cackhanded negligence (and being too busy working   ) the mighty Merc will not be maintaining its 18-30 Car Club 100% record.

Bugger.

Still, as I won't be driving round a track I can approach tomorrow with a bigger hangover so it's not all bad!  :secret:
