cruiser647
In actual fact, I could not tell you my sitting MPs' name. Not a clue. I was at my local car wash a few years back, got chatting to an old boy about 'stuff' and he worked for a local MP called Stewart Jackson. I thought he was the local one for my area. (seen the signs with his name on it) Turns out, he's for the north of the river in Peterborough and another chap is for my area south of the river. Just looked him up - bloke called Vora. NewNiceMrMe
I can tell you my MP's name. He's called Tosser. This is largely because he recently thought it right to approve plans for a £1m 'flood reduction' scheme in a place called Shiremoor. It will protect residents and their properties. What he failed to recognise is that the rest of the constituency (of which Shiremoor should NEVER be a part) would love nothing more than for it to be flooded. Under about 10 metres of water should just about do it. Edited April 11, 2014 by NewNiceMrMe
garcon magnifique
I have the delightful pleasure of having our current Chancellor as my local MP. Thoroughly die-hard Conservative constituency as you might imagine (bar the Hamilton blip) but I think it's fair to say Gideon is tolerated rather than liked. Apparently as a yoof he was a bit like Dubbya in that nobody expected him to come to much.

garcon magnifique
But if I stay, that suggests you'll never move near me. Quandary...
