Cuprabob
Iran look like holding Argentina to a nil-nil draw. Certainly didn't see that coming.:-)
Cuprabob
...and in injury time Messi does his thing:-)
NewNiceMrMe
Iran absolutely robbed by the referee. Blatant penalty denied. I'm sick of seeing this now. Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina (no connection there then) have all had decisions go in their favour. Iran deserved a draw. Nothing less. Argentina won't win this tournament anyway, but the sooner the feckers go out (preferably to a dodgy decision), the better.
Cuprabob
I agree but that Messi goal was something else:-)
NewNiceMrMe
He's an ugly little tax-evading Argentinian scrote. The sooner they're out, the better. I'll admit I can't stand them and i don't think he's as good as Ronaldo this year anyway. Yes, it was a good goal.
Cuprabob
Germany v Ghana didn't disappoint either:-)
NewNiceMrMe
Yes it did. Bloody Klose.
Soulboy
There's been some great games. Mostly unexpected - like Ghana. I am not bothered about England, as my expectation was zero from the start anyway. Glad the agony wasnt prolonged any further tbh. Wonder what's going to happen to Suarez/Liverpool now? All the diving/acting is getting a bit tiresome though. Edited June 22, 2014 by Soulboy
Cuprabob
Looking forward to the USA v Portugal game later tonight, should be a good one. Algeria v S Korea game was a bit of a surprise to me. I thought it would be a boring one.and how wrong was I. :-)
NewNiceMrMe
That was a superb game. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and there were some fantastic goals too. I've been looking forward to USA v Portugal all day. In a way I expect something special from Ronaldo, but in another I'm half expecting him to be injured. They need him to do something because it is clearly as close to a one-man team as you could get.
cruiser647
They need him to do something because it is clearly as close to a one-man team as you could get. Like Argentina and Uraguay! However, at least they have 1 man that can, as opposed to our team that can't.
Twinspark
Don't be ridiculous. Portugal aren't a 1 man team. They also have Nani.

NewNiceMrMe
Nani was an absolute joke last night, yet again. So he scored a goal that even I could have scored. After that he humiliated himself almost by the minute. He was appalling. Why anyone would pick him for their team, even a pub-side, is completely beyond me. Cuprabob
I have to say there is a good chance Roy Hodgson will get a BAFTA for his performance:-)

M8CKN
I don't see any positives coming from England at all in the game or tournament. Embarrassing.
Cuprabob
Uruguay have just scored. If it finishes like that, Italy are out.

Tipex
Theres no doubt, that is blatant. I'm with Ian Wright, the bloke needs help, he must be looking at a lengthy ban now, and his face aftetwards looked like he knew it.
Andy_Bangle
...and there was all this talk of him going off to play in Spain before the match. That could have cost him dear. Maybe he pulled out, before breaking the skin... EDIT: Just announced: Suarez signs 3 year sponsorship with Pedigree Dentastix. Luke
Must be something to do with those goofy teeth. Perhaps he has no control over them. Of all the people you wouldn't want to bite you, he has to be no1!!
