Milo
I'm watching this now. A number of things come to mind: 1. Will we ever get another chance to win a tournament more than we did in the mid to late 90s? 2. So much unfulfilled potential. 3. With hindsight, the 90s were the last chance for raw talent to win big on the international stage. Now, you need a technical genius at the helm. 4. I remember watching the England v Germany euro semi final in San Antonio, rather battered. 5. Sir Bobby Robson. Just wow. Andrew
Wrong thread? I'm really not looking forward to the take over of the conversations by the roundball world cup.
Milo
As far as I'm aware, there is only 1 World Cup. No? Edited May 23, 2014 by Milo

garcon magnifique
Doha. Which, if you're Sepp Blatter, can be abbreviated to D'Oh!
NewNiceMrMe
Yet their stadium for the opening match is already built and looks superb...which is more than can be said for the tournament starting in a few weeks time! They built a hotel next to it too in Doha. Oh and that's up and open too....with 8 years to spare. And it is collosal. The deck on the right of it, half way up....well the little dots on it are people.... Edited May 24, 2014 by NewNiceMrMe
