Arch
Get her to put one of these on her Christmas list. So very useable, you'll never wear a neckstrap again. Best thing I ever bought for my camera. Black Rapid
Arch
Just looked at mine, it's the RS-4, not the 7 i've linked too. Slightly cheaper and if memory serves me, better than the other one according to reviews.
Waylander
I'd recommend a bag for something like that, the Crumplers are good if you want a recommendation and well worth the money. Remember this is a new teenage girl - it needs to be bright it seems so I am trying to marry the safety aspect (something she can put with the lens attached) with a degree of brightness. She was very happy when we got it last night
CarMad
Who said crumpled was boring. Pfffft there are uber cool not black and stuffy like the rest at all, how could you. Anyway, here you go. Bright orange, small and excellent quality oh and currently on offer, what more could you want. http://www.crumpler.eu/index.cfm?seite=photo&Private-Surprise-Photo&productID=8655&sprache=EN
eldavo69
eBay has loads of Crumpler bargains. I really rate their stuff. (I've a camera rucksack, a large camera bag, a small camera bag, a compact camera case and a proper travel case - it's all very well made and with well thought out features.) CarMad
I see you are missing the medium camera bag there, bit of a miss that.
Waylander
I'd recommend a bag for something like that, the Crumplers are good if you want a recommendation and well worth the money. Just pulled the the trigger on a Crumpler Cupcake 2500 - big enough to house the camera with lens attached but not too big. Thanks for the recommendation. Sadly could only find it in black not the Turkish Coffee which I thought looked pretty nice although I think she will like it with the logo
Arch
Sounds like a nice bag. Shame you've shot a hole through it.
