Torino101
I'm sticking to Android. Sorry not getting sucked into this Apple vortex. Tablet: Nexus 7 (II) Phone: LG G3 Very happy with both. Superb bits of kit. Edited September 10, 2014 by Torino101
CarMad
See I don't see it like that, maybe I should. I got the iPhone when nothing else could touch it and liked it then. Its evolved well, the UI could do with a kick in the balls to get things moving personally with a decent single home screen. But the hardware is first class and has never let me down once. Now I can seamless do many things between, phone, iPad and Mac. I just took a call on my Mac and my phone is another room, in fact I'm not sure where it is. I can even make and receive txts and not just iMessages now. When it works it works really well, but I can understand many want more control or customisation that Android can give you. patently
Really? They seem to be outperforming O2 and Voda by a country mile so far... especially if you consider their 4G coverage. Try calling them to arrange something. Like, say, the direct debit they forgot to set up at the beginning of the contract. You'd think they'd be keen to do that? Nope. They kept failing, and kept sending me snotty texts pointing out I'm in arrears. Then they want me to phone from the actual device in order to pay... it was a iPad... So I phone from a different number only to go into the telephone hold system of eternity... and so on. Eventually I posted the SIM and a cheque back to them and told them to feck off. Life's too short to spend it dealing with idiots.

billy2shots
For those not too sure on the size to order. Here you can print off paper templates to get an idea. The 6 plus is massive! Not for trouser pockets. http://lifehacker.com/see-which-iphone-6-size-is-best-for-you-with-these-prin-1632649966
NewNiceMrMe
I am struggling to see the point of the 6 Plus, but will upgrade from a 5 to a 6. I'm more interested in the Apple Watch to be honest.
Tipex
6+ is a massive no go for me. First and foremost, for me, it's a phone, that Galaxy Note thing is similar in size to the 6+ I believe, and it's just daft (imo). Anyone know when I can order a six? I did say the watch was stupid, and pointless, but err, I think it actually looks alright. Edited September 11, 2014 by Tipex
NewNiceMrMe
Pre-orders of the 6 start tomorrow. The watch styling is much better than I anticipated but I was just looking for a daily watch that I'd get a bit more tech from - and I think the base model with the metal loop strap thingy will be my choice. shao_khan
This was intended to Quote Bells post but I forgot the quote I have a couple of Nokias with Windows and have to say I like them, I can use them with no loss of functionality to my day, other than no clash of clans The os on a phone I think works very well and the newer versions seem to have a good battery life and do all the social media / web browsing ,etc I do with a phone at 1/4 the cost. garcon magnifique
6+ is a massive no go for me. Yeah, a taxi driver with what appears to be a permanent hard on is not a good look. Especially on the school run.
Arch
So, own up, who's printed the paper template off to see how big the new phones are? If you have, you don't deserve to own a smart phone, go and get some empty bean tins and some string.

Thanks mate! I've gone for it. Ordered a Lumia 930 sim free for £369 Just couldn't justify £619 for a 32gig IP6. Mental!! Gone through all my apps and i only really use; Facebook, Twitter, Tapatalk, Natwest, Viber, Instagram, Ebay regularly. Windoze seems to have that covered. The camera looks great and it will be nice to have a play with something new. Having had iphones since the 3g, it will make for an interesting change!! [may actually keep the 5 as back up now that i'm not shelling out near £600] Edited September 11, 2014 by bells0
Soulboy
I dont get the computer watch. They (all brands) apparently have a very high reject factor from users who try them and then give up. And the Apple one looks like a kids toy. And why have I got some carp from U2 in my pi55ing itunes library. "wow! is this really happening in real time!" "yes, unfortunately it is". Delete. shao_khan
The 930 is i think the update to mine which was a 925 and it was great, didn't look so good after the incident with the car door though!!! Once youre used to the change I loved it.

Arch
But of course, heaven forbid anyone wait until its actually in a shop and go and *gasp* physically pick one up and hold it. If only id had a paper template to see how big my car was before i bought it, id have realised it wouldnt fit in the garage.
